I updated post. He laughed when i told him 3gs; and said he spent that much on it this year. The kit and paint are 3 weeks old, and performance parts are all fairly new too. His price is firm.

yeah i said that too... i painted mione last april.. kit is molded on rear and sides. German tailight conversion. Golf interior conversion. full 2 1/2 exhaust neuspeed springs. neuspeed short shift. mini shift knob conversion.Tri Y headers. underdrive pully (unorthodox).polished intake both parts and polished throttle. 17 inch BRAND new BSA rims and new tires.apexi N1 muffler. They just dont have good motors. The car is only worth what someones willing to pay Drivetran Sucks a monkeys ass on the older VWs i went through 3 transmissions of course they were all used but still...i could find one that was any good. I beg to differ...The ABA motor is one of the most desirable vw motors at this time...you can damn near do anything to them!! You just have to understand how they operate...VW's aren't Hondas, they require a little knowledge...

    oh yeah..Bump for Shane

sorry dude its not mine and you are right its only worth what someone will pay. but keep in mind that there is someone out there that will pay the money if they want it bad enough. i dont know how good the jettas are but he likes it enough to keep it if it dont sell. the only reason he is testing is because he wants a good down payment on a new golf.

you'd be better off trading it in. Not selling to a idividual unless you put it on Buford Hwy for a few days..even then its only going to get stolen...lol But anywho he should just trade it in, they would give him more than someone here would. Unless that kid in the WTB forum that posted he wants a jetta buys it...lol

DUDE......LET IT GO! He dont want to trade it or really even sell it but if someone wants it he will take 5gs. i just thought id post it for him to see if anyone wanted it. which seems like a big waste of my time. I dont have time to argue the value of the car and really dont care.

So please understand that im trying to be as patient as possible here. If you are not interested or think its too much then please move on because he is not going to lower the price right now. if he does drop the price i will send everyone who thinks its too high a pm.

I like the car...... rims could use to be different.........

and unlike the other Jetta in the pic above this one seems taken care off and not ragged out

IMO its worth the 5k........ u cannot build one for even close to that.....
