    Default FS/FT 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT on 22's

    Hey guys I am trying to sell or trade my truck for something that is better on gas because i do a lot of driving. I got this car a while back from CleanSol here on IA, Traded my del sol for it (RIP). A little infor on the truck...

    ****WANT TO TRADE FOR A MOTORCYCLE 600CC OR LARGER ALL OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED****

    ***also the car has had the radiator, water pump, alternater, and radiator hoses replaced***

    Clean title in hand, VIN upon request if that is alright, if not people please let me know before you close or delete this

    two wheel drive

    318 V8

    remote start and alarm

    188,00 miles and runs absolutly great i drive from athens to marrietta all the time

    fiberglass bed cover,

    22 inch rims with decent tires

    new dash cap

    amped speakers not really sure what, not a system just door speakers and such

    have stock set of wheels with pretty new tires with the car

    tinted windows

    Kameleon cd player, 6 disk changer

    interior is about an 8 out of ten

    New Radiator and hoses, coolant flush

    10W30 Fully synthetic oil changed about two hundred miles ago

    Grill is painted to match the car

    I also have other part that go with the car i will scoop up and add on here later on.

    will include new oil pan gasket and transmission filter and gaskets, I have not had time to change this stuff yet so i just have the parts

    the bad: Tranny is kinda weird from timne to time nothing major, it just will slip into nuetral sometimes when you are driving, It does not happen often but when it does if you let off the gas it will shift back correctly, other than that the car is terriffic. Clean Sol can vouche for this car he owned it a long time before me and knows a lot more info on the car such as other things that have been replaced. There are some miner dings and scratched but nothing major. Any other info that might be need please feel free to ask or pm me. Best way to get in contact is to pm me on here or make a post, All trades are considered I really just need something with better gas milage, . If i were to sell i would like to get 6000 OBO

    yep that was my baby for many moons.

    the door speakers are 6x9 pioneer 3 ways in the doors and pioneer 3 inch 2-way in the back... the fronts are amped by a 150 watt lightning audio amp. the radio is a JVC kameleon and it is straight gangster. it has a pioneer 12 disc changer hooked up through fm 98.1. the rims are x-bahn 22x9.5 and the tires are general grabber UHP's and have been hellllllaaaa good tires! regular maintenance was done on the motor, but it does have a lot of miles. its got line-x bedliner and dual flowmaster 50 series from the cat back (single in-dual out)

    if you get 6k out of it chris i'll punch you in the face!! haha i never really put a price on it, just wanted a trade... but lemme know who it goes to so i can keep up with it.

    I will man dont worry, right now i am talking to a guy with a 92 prelude SI on here it is the silver one, i love this car to death and i know its reliable as hell i just can afford it right now, i need something with a little better gas milage

    dont blame that on me I didn't say that **** you had his number just as well as he had yours, you were the one upset and pissed cause it was a car taken a part in your garage area it made me no difference. I gave the benefit of doubt and I told you to find out when he would be able to get it since he was having some problems with his son cause when you towed my **** without even asking and I told you I need the windshield I was pissed so I wouldnt tell you to tow someone else's stuff that makes no sense

    Ever think you gas milleage has something to do with your rim size? Or gear ratio? Have you tried tuning it?

    i think its mostly because its a V8 that is why i am trying to get something with a four cylinder, but yeah the rims are pretty heavy

    My 4x4 V8 gets 22 on the highway. Do some tuning and intake and such and your mileage will go up. Most vehicles come from the factory running 40% rich anyway. PM me if you are interested.

    Yours is also a GM with a engine based on the LS design...those motors the Chrysler ran in those trucks had horrible gas mileage no matter what...Just to fill ya in, every motor reacts differently those are based off two completely different engines, oiling systems and everything. Not trying to be a smart ass or anything but no matter what that truck will never get about 16 probably at best on the highway even. Bump for a clean truck though I personally know the truck and the previous owner and can vouch for it.
