I thought I might like being in a smaller car...but I just can't do it, so my Civic is up for sale now.
I purchased the car about 2 Months ago and have barely even driven it. Since I bought it I've replaced the passenger side cv axle, two driver side front wheel studs, installed red clear taillights, installed dropzone coilover sleeves, installed a revo technica short shifter, installed a ractive superflo intake, installed oem style fog lights and had a keyless entry alarm system installed (Panther, low priced directed brand).
The car runs and drives great. The ride isn't so great on the dropzones but I do have the stock springs. It doesn't consume any oil that I've noticed, but there is a leak around the distributer. The tranny shifts smooth and the clutch feels as good as any I've ever driven on.
I'm not sure exactly how many miles are on the engine, it was swapped prior to the previous owner purchasing the car. He told me it had around 80000. The chassis has 172XXX.
There are only a couple of problems with the car that I know about. The sunroof opens fine but doesn't close properly. It comes down before it gets all the way forward so it hits the roof. If you hold it up while closing it it closes fine though. The other problem is with the right hand turn signal. It's very dim in the back and doesn't work in the front...no clue what the problem is.
I think this is a great car, it's just too small for me. It could make a good daily driver or a good project car for somebody. I'm asking $2300 for it, that's what I paid for it, I've only had it 2 months and I've added things to it so that price seems fair to me. Plus it looks like thats what I'll need to get the car that I'm looking for. I am pretty firm on that price, but I may be willing to bend a little.
I will also trade for a 4th gen Accord w/manual transmission.
