    Default FS: 2001 Suzuki SV650S

    2001 Suzuki SV650S (1st gen) 645cc V-Twin.

I bought this bike from a good friend about 6 months ago (he was the second owner so I am the technically the third). Bike is in good shape, runs well, and doesn't look to shabby (it has some nicks/scratches along with some gas stain on the tank though someone told me some Goo Gone would remove it just I haven't gotten around to doing it).

It has about 25,600 miles, and I know that can strike as being a lot esp. when you see many folks selling bikes with less miles. Though for a bike that is like 6 years old you can somewhat break that down to 4200 miles a year give or take of course a year. Also there are many who think this is a good sign a bike that is ridden more often than just being mainly garage kept.

I love riding, and when ever it is not raining along with not being less than 50 degrees out side I have been riding her in the last 6 months. And I have found myself putting a good amount of miles within the week esp. since I ride to work and home... And when weather permits out when hanging with friends.

It is a very comfortable bike, there are those who would say this is not a good beginner bike, I don't know if it is or isn't but I can say I learned on it... Taking my experience with driving manual cars, and a good sense of balance I started riding in my sub-division then getting my learners permit then getting my full license. So if someone is interested and has no riding experience I say just take your time, and be careful... You can learn on this bike, and enjoy it.

I originally bought this bike because I was going to sell my last car which I did (04 Nissan 350Z) in order to get out of debt and buy a house... Though now that I am closer to buying a house I feel that I want to have some just in case money in the bank, so even though I love the bike and I like riding... Selling is the easiest way to make some money versus getting another loan or use credit cards right now and down the road I can always pick up another bike.

So now since owning it I have replaced...

Pirelli Diablo Strada Tires $229 not including mounting/balance (pretty much brand new, just got done scrubbing them).
Galfer Front Brake Pads $48 (recently installed).
Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windshield $70 (recently installed, the OEM turned yellowish).
Micron stainless steel full race pipework with polished aluminum round race silencer $640.
    Motosliders Frame Sliders $68

I am looking for $2,800 for the bike with clean Title in hand and I am throwing in some extra items to help speed the sale...

Other items included with the price...

Icon Merc Gloves Short - XL ($70) New never used, cause they are to big for my hands.
Icon Solid Gloss Alliance SS Helmet - XL ($190) Like new, to tight on my head so I hardly have worn it.
Clymer Suzuki 99-01 SV650/650S Service Manual
    Suzuki Instant Detailer (new)
Suzuki Motorcycle Wash (almost full used for one wash)
New Suzuki Air Filter (haven't gotten around to installing)
New Suzuki Clutch Cable (haven't gotten around to installing)
New Suzuki Oil Filter (just did a oil change, so this would be for the next one)
Rear Standered Stand (generic but still does the job)
    DMP Front Stand
New 1 Gallon of 4 Cycle 10W-40 Motorcycle Oil
1 not opened Qt. of Motul Oil
1 half used Qt. of Motul Oil (I can't seem to find the other not opened Qt. so if you want to use Motul again just buy another one cause it take 2 and a half).

Please post up or PM me if interested.

Can't say I am comfortable with the idea of out of state, though where would a local shipping depot be?

Updated with a new lower price, though I will not go any lower (well I can go lower depending on not throwing in some of the items I was original including with the price).
