Default FS: 1988 FZR400 race bike - price reduced

Solo starter system is spoken for already, as are some of the extra tires, fuel, etc., so the price has been reduced.

This bike is not street legal.

1988 FZR400 - not sure what all mods have been done to the engine, but it is definately fast for a 400 - the old owner (local) can provide all of the information on it though

    Total loss ignition
    Flat slides w/K&N pod filters
    TZ250 rear wheel
92 FZR600 front end (forks, wheels, brakes, etc) - worked by Traxxion
new EBC HH pads up front
    Fox twin clicker
    full D&D exhaust
front damper (not sure of brand)
    Vortex clip-ons
    custom dash
    huge radiator
    new battery
    Pitbull stand
custom race plastics - rear tail is really fast to remove, the bottom and sides are molded into a custom belly pan
whole bike is safety wired already

I have some spare parts that will come with the bike - extra sprockets, clip-ons, radiator, etc.

If shipped, buyer will be responsible for paying shipping (its not cheap). If you cannot pick it up in Atlanta, contact me and I will see if we can work out shipping/meeting.

Lots of pics are available upon request. PM me for additional information or photos.

    $2200

Definately an 88. Just has race plastics on it. A lot of parts are newer, so it can fool you if you aren't familiar with them. YOu can put an R6 race tail on them even. My FZR600 had an R6 solo tail.

This bike comes with EVERYTHING you need to go to the track with. Even starter (DocZ) and fuel (VP U4). You literally will only need your riding gear.

If you can ride decently, this bike has everything you need to race in Vintage class - and win. It has the power and the suspension. This bike is nowhere near stock.

speaking of swapping tails...i found a late 80's Honda Nighthawk painted Mercedes silver with either a Ducati Monster or some Buell tail -- i can't remember which but overall the bike looked like something you would have seen on the show room floor the last year or two...it flowed so perfectly. I think it was for sale on craigslist and I know I saved the pics but can't find them

Solo starter is spoken for, as were some of the tires, fuel, etc. Price has been reduced accordingly.

Bike is sitting ready to go - needs only a rider. Next track day at RA is May 26. If someone hurries and buys it, they can make that track day.
