This 240sx has been on sale on IA before, but I acquired this 240sx via a trade because someone bought my car and did not have enough cash so they gave me this 240 as well, however, I have not yet to pick up the car.

I am in need of money so I am willing to sell the car for cheaper than he has asked in his for sale thread.

new distributor
new spark plugs

good transmission and shifts fine

Exterior -
slick-top, primered ready for paint, no major damage
exhaust on the car is bent and has some exhaust leak

original grey interior that's pretty clean
dash is clean
tach doesnt work

Suspension -
red aftermarket wheels with a 2" polished lip

BAD: I did not think the car turns on, but i saw the car for the first time today and jumped the car and the CAR DOES TURN ON and idle FINE!
The car just needs a new battery to run

long story short...
evo8marlon sold this car to a friend of mine, he drove it around a while, something went out so he replaced all those things (distributor, wires, plugs, alternator), the car then ran perfect and he drove the car for a period again... his parents did not approve of the car so he left it at a friend's car shop and tried to sell it from there, when he first showed the car, the car did not start once again and he told me it was probably the battery but did not have a chance to confirm it

he then gave ME the car along with some cash for a car i had for sale, although i never went to check out the car, as it still sits at the same shop today.

if i get the car cranked and running, the price will be raised

considering the motor turns on, idles fine, tranny is fine, interior is good.. price is definitely fair - just needs some TLC

for $1100 i think its a good price. even though it probably doesn't look the best if you fix it up itll be just as good as any other 2-3 grand 240 i mean hey it runs. mike it probably needs work but thats why its priced to sell its hard to find a decent running 1 grand car..

no offense, but about a year ago 240s were going for 2700 max. and those were the people who were trying to rip you off. because it runs, it does seem to be an ok price, especially with the wheels. considering shells alone go for 800 bucks or so, plus rims, plus "working" motor, asking price seems about right. wish the valve ticking wasnt so bad, i would have this car in my driveway.

Andy is a respected seller. He has sold alot of cars on here. He notes everything that is wrong with the cars he sells. Maybe he didnt know of the other things you stated.
