No, not the same car at all. This was a bad ass 996 Turbo. Older guy name Joe drives it. I'm sure that this car is much much much faster than the 944 with LS1.
Yeah I ran him and beat him. Ran him three times and every time it was the same outcome, I'd pull on him and keep pulling away till shut down. I also ran a Porsche 996 Turbo. The guy driving it was a little too eager and keep jumping unexpectadily (or so I thought). The first time we were in the middle of a curve and he was honking, I just let him go on that one. The second time I was trying to get up next to him and suddenly he took off. I had no brake boost going and he was out by two cars before I realized he was running. I dropped the hammer and began reeling him in. If we would of had more straight away, I would have passed him as I was pulling on him hard when we shut down. Then while cruising my car started making noise, and the fun was over. I'm gonna have to run the 996 again when I get my car back running. I'm pretty sure taht he's gonna make some changes before he runs me again. Chris (with the IS300), said the guy with the Porsche was tripping balls over how hard I was pulling him and admitted that if there was anymore straightaway left that he wasn't going to be able to hold me off as he was nearing overdrive gears.
