1988 toyota supra with a 5.3 from a 03 avalance. it runs and drives. i have put over 700 miles on it now. 70 of which have been with the trans making noise only in 5th. YOu will not beat this price and i will not go lower.
price: 2800 or trade for a decent dd and some boot. offer up. will also trade the car for a complete running h series swap for my eg.

Car is not perfect. Paint is rustoleum red, tires have vibration( part from alignment, bad struts and probably tires), targa leaks alittle when in heavy rain, console is notched for shifter, missing a couple trim pieces, struts are shot, tach drops to 0 after 4500rpms, fuel gauge is off, exhaust leak at collector weld, broken antennae, noise in trans in 5th gear(no grinds or pop outs and only in 5th gear).That is all i can think of. Just no funds to finish her up.
for the low ballers
For the people wondering how much it could cost to build this same setup and think my price is to high for the issues listed. here is a break down of what YOU would have to spend to even come close to this. I know some people can get things for cheaper, so this is a average on prices, for the exact parts on this car.

Clean 88 mk3 body( has a 91 front end, 4.30 geared lsd diff from the 91, 91 cloth interior, clarion cd player, targa top car, 91 model wheels, after market traction arms, cross drilled and slotted rotors, new brakes, stainless brake lines, stainless clutch line, tilton clutch master cylinder( was originally a auto car), white face gauges... This shell could easily go for 1500 alone.
Please remember people the car is still a project, but i will not give it away. The price is already low enough, if you want a hand out. Go bother someone else. The 2800 is firm and will be the lowest it will go, even if the trans decides to die out eventually. You could find a t56 to put in it for less than 1500 bucks and be right back on the road or just rebuild the tremec.
I am not parting it out, just giving you a break down. Add it up. That is average prices. So that is 6000 + or - for parts alone and shell. So please don't waste my time and ask for less than 2800!
