    Default 1987 Toyota MR2 20V swap

    FOR SALE: 1987 Toyota MR-2 with 4age 20v swap 90% complete.
    vin available upon request.
    165k on the odo
    reason for selling: bought an suv for a DD and don't have room for 3 cars

    the car is not finished, but wont take much. i bought the car for $400 as a shell, bought the silver top 20v from Best Japanese Engine in Marietta for $1200 (including engine, trans, ecu). paid a local aw11 guru $300 to modify the wire harness for this swap (he's wired up over 100 harnesses for people across teh country). i have $450 or so in custom exhaust components. i have a little over $2500 total in teh car so far. the body has a little damage, but i have all the replacement parts. title in hand. i'll let it all go for $2000.

    REDCED TO $1200





    the hood was a little dented up, so i found a straight one locally (hood needs paint). i have clean headlights and covers to go with it, the driver side got dented up too.

    Needs an ignitor coil, I'd make sure the vacuum lines are in the right place. I have an AFM for it but it may need a different one. Overall, not much. I've already done the bulk of he work, but I'm working crazy hours now so I don't have time to fool with it anymore.

    for the record, if i find the time to actually get it running, the price WILL be going up by at least a grand. if you're wanting one of these, pick this up cheap and get it running yourself. like i said, the hard part is done.

    cant believe this hasnt sold. the engine is $1200 alone and hes only asking $1500?! seriously!

    screw it. imma keep it. it isnt really worth selling it any cheaper. just bought the parts to get it running and it cost a whopping $75 lol.

    aaand the car is back up. just bought another vehicle and i dont have room for 3. $1200 takes it. the SWAP by itself cost more than that.
