I've had this car about a year and it's time for me to move on. I rarely ever keep cars this long. It's been a fantastic, reliable car, just wanting to look at something different.
It's a 93 v8 SC400, just hit 190k. I change the oil every 3k with a Lexus OEM oil filter and Valvoline 5w-30. I've run Chevron 93 octane in it everytime I fill up (except 1 time) and it boosted my gas mileage from when I first got the car about an extra 2mpg. It currently gets a hair over 25mpg with a mix of city and highway, but mostly city. The car is currently under the knife, getting the power steering pump and alternator replaced. The engine starts up just fine, idles fine, revs fine, and works just as it should. It never gets hot at all. It has IS300 wheels with plenty of tread on the front tires, but could probably use a set of rear tires soon.
The only real problems with the car is the common needles on the dash for the tach and speedo, the inner passenger side door handle broke (don't even know how it broke), and the pass. side window regulator is bad. The only mods are a 3.5" MAF adapter with an AEM dryflow air filter.
The timing belt just hit 30k on it so it still has plenty of life and the spark plugs and wires should have several thousand more miles on them also.
In some of the following pics the car has seat covers, they no longer do as I replaced the seats with uncracked units from another SC. Also the "tire-less" wheels in some of the pics are not included in the price, but they can be purchased seperately. They are SSI Design (popular in the Supra community) 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 40 offset, I have a brand new unmounted set of 275/35/18s for the rears, but no front tires yet.
I am asking $4000 obo for the car, and some of the trades I'm interested in are an SUV or truck. Not wanting small trucks like Rangers, mostly Silverados/Sierras, F150s, maybe even older hotrod trucks. Also SUVs I'm into are the Chevy SUVs, the Ford SUVs don't really do anything for me. Also I'm interested in Durangos. Anyways, if you have an offer you think is fair, feel free to PM it to me as I might be interested. There are also plenty of cars I like to, so don't think I only want a truck or SUV.
I'm in Chattanooga and the last part of the VIN # is 0032292. The car has a clean title in my name, and passed local emissions with flying colors.
