Brent said that on the drive from Austin, that the rear clunked a little. Which either means is the ring and pinion or the sub-frame.

You're going to lie right after a posted a link in which one of the previous owners said it needed a rebuild?

Do you even know what the ring and pinion is? It could be the subframe? What the hell is that supposed to mean?

thats not the owner mac. owner is dead. thas a buddy of his who took the car after he died. ask the man himself.

im talking about he ring and pinion in the lsd and not the rack and pinion for the steering.

I can't believe that you still don't know your terminology even though you've been "into" cars for so long.

I know that you're talking about the rear diff.

The pinion is inside the diff housing and it spins the ring gear that is bolted to the LSD. The axles are in the LSD which is inside the housing. The rear differential is the whole thing, the LSD is the actual differential inside the housing. They aren't the same.

I believe it's a clutch type LSD, and with those miles it probably needs a rebuild. Even if it's just the ring and pinion, it's probably going to be a $500 replacement for parts and labor.

it is the clutch type. a rebuild kit from t3 is 150 but idont know how much labor is on it.

How can it be missing when the timing is fine? There are two wires coming from the MAF sensor that have been cut off and I dont know where they go since I bought the car as a shell.

I know you don't rev it on a cold engine that's why I ran it a few times before without reving.

    Also car is SOLD

if you ran it, then how come it hard a hard time starting up? shouldnt have that problem if it were warm. and you could be missing because of several things. plug bad, plug wire bad, and thats just the start

Like I said before, the maf is not working. Also all the plugs were getting spark and proper voltage. With the Rolla the right amount of fuel wont be injected if the MAF sensor is not working therefore the cylinders have a harder time firing so to speak.

AZN_Pride is a ****ing tool. He doesn't know the difference between a spark plug and a **** in his ass. He already zapped the wiring harness when he connected a ground to a positive terminal.

The reason why he is selling it is because he can't fix it and none of his jerkoff buddies will hold his hand to fix it.

He also did not warm the engine before revving it. He also ran the engine with no exhaust manifold, I'm sure the valves loved that.

Ben you're ****ing tool that will never amount to anything. Save us all some trouble and jump in front of moving bus.
