Selling my 87 MR-2. 1897 178K miles.
Current emissions test

The Good:
Power windows, power locks
Rust free body, pretty straight, would require minimal prep for paint
Runs strong, gets between 33 and 35 mpg
Sporty, tight handling
4 wheel laser alignemnet - tracks true and straight
No accidents that I know about.
T-Tops leak free!
Toyota double Din CD/radio player

Parts that I have replaced:

OEM Toyota T TOP SEALS ($150) OEM Toyota window motors and regulators ($300)
OEM TOYOTA front rotors, rear rotors, and Axxis metal master brake pads
All new bushings, ball joints, Steering rack rebuild, distributor rebuild, new O2 sensor, New toyota Exhaust manifold, new Catalytic Convertor

Parts included:
Spare transmission
OEM toyota caliper rebuild kit
OEM toyota windshield seal

The bad:
Needs paint, but it's still all one color....faded red
Contrary to the exterior, the interior needs paint removed lol. Previous Owner thought it's be cool to have a red interior.....NOT.
Rear tires will need to be replaced sometime soon
3rd gear has a bad grind. I have the spare trans for this fact, but I'm going to let the next owner install it. If I would install it, I'd be asking a bunch more for the car for my time.
A/C needs to be charged up. No leaks that I'm aware of.


Why I'm selling:

I've had her for about a year, but with the baby here now, I need the second car to seat more than 2 people
