I almost had a car shipped over about 3 years ago. When I actually had decent money and no bills. But, The car was 7k, no problem. With shipping, registration, etc. it came out to 19,867... No thanks.

Sure, but keep in mind its not my money ;)

I'd rather know what goes into registering it here though..

I realize that... But, to avoid all the complications, find one that is already registered and in the states. Then, you don't have to worry about it. There is a company in California and private users that have them for sale. Just make sure they have the paperwork. You'll save a crap load of money, time, and headaches.

Hmm I'll look into it. Evo IIIs are sooooo hard to find in the States.

Actually, they aren't terribly hard to find. Someone I know just bought one about 5 months ago. Just gotta know where to look.
