Well being that we are a new section to these forums, I'd say come on down. We're always down for meeting new guys.

As for the shindig (eating I mean), I suggest we cookout on a grill at one of the various park locales. I know of a few around the lake but I don't know any actually on the Dam (as I'm not familiar with it). Unless someone has a better idea, perhaps we go ahead and form a list of supplies folks can bring. Otherwise... let's formulate a better plan.

I got the nice camera and tripod from work so I MIGHT wind up making the Riverside meet AS WELL as the MoG meet. If I don't make the meet tonight, I will go do some test shots using the camera. It's got a zoom lens and everything. Hopefully it'll be good enough.

So I've been playing around with this camera a bit and I gotta be honest, it takes pretty good pics. It's only an 8mp but it's got some nice lenses and it takes a nice shot. Imma start a new thread so I can quit cluttering up this one.

I meant to say mine AREN'T too technical. I usually just do a background b&w with the focal object fully colored, maybe a little blur effect, and then my forum name. Yours are good.
