This car belongs to Anthony from Columbia. He recently purchased this car as an unfinished project, and brought it to us to fix the issues, install a few parts, and tune his MircoTech EMS. The original builder was unable to diagnose the issues with the car, so it's never ran to it's full potential.

Anthony's car was wired using a Painless Wiring Harness, and there were several issues with the charging circuit, causing alternator failure. We installed a new SR20det alternator, built a new charging harness and rewired the voltage regulator. We also repaired all of the other wiring issues the car had, installed a torque brace, fixed some clutch issues, and installed a battery kill switch. After all of the problems were remedied, We got Anthony's car on to the dyno for a tune.

Here is the setup:

Stock S13 SR20det
Megan Racing Turbo Manifold and outlet
S14 SR20det T28 Turbo
JIC Downpipe and Exhaust
HKS FMIC
HKS BOV
Greddy Profec

Walbro 255 lph Fuel Pump
750cc Fuel Injectors
Aeromotive FPR

Tuned on MicroTech

Since this car is for track use only, and will see mostly high RPM, high heat conditions, most tuning was done with the fan off to elevate under hood conditions. Reliability, and no detonation under heat soaked conditions were the main concerns. Some power was sacrificed at the cost of reliabilty, but even with HIGH IAT's we were able to avoid any detonation.

Here is the chart from the tune. We ended up revving this setup to 7,800 RPM, but the dyno was having trouble reading the tach signal from the car, due to a weak signal to the MircoTech. The final power numbers were 304 whp, and the torque held steady.
