spec's on my car black 04 GT bone stock full interior the only mod is a 3:73 gear. Stock exhuast tires from the factory are still on the car.

idk right now its my daily driver....not much to do to a 2v im use to the 5.0's this is my first mod motor i knew putting a gear in it would help it went 14.0 last friday night at commerce

Ummmm, on a pushrod engine, there is only ONE cam, and not a cam grear.. just a timing chain and timing gear. Unless you converted to a OHC system

Yeah, there is a cam gear, along with a crank gear, which the chain attaches to both.

yeah, i know waaay more about ohc/dohc engines. Was under the impression that the system on a pushrod engine had different terms. But i know how the system works on the pushrod engines....

Im sorry when did road atlanta install a 1/4 mile track? Or did you use a g-tech or something? ALso why in the hell would you take a old ass truck to ROAD atlanta to race on a twisty track? Im new here so im just wondering.

they dont have a quarter mile track at road Atlanta. your right.. what they do is liek every couple months or so they will block off part of the track and run quarters with laser time.. but you are right that they dont have a quater strip.

haha yea it is an old ass truck but its what i had to work with so started with it and well it took off.. got to into it i guess then i got to a point of no return when i had spent so much money i wasnt about to sell it.. lol but i must say its pretty interesting to watch it run.
