some of you people on here amaze me. you come onto our board and at the first sign of someone grouping you in with the ricers you get very worked up over it, and fine whatever, i admit i have been guilty of generalizing imports, but i have made an astonishing effort to be more accepting and non-judgemental, and i thought since the imports that came on our board demanded respect, this board would be showing more of it, but no , some do , but most of you guys just shun ppl away that don't drive imports. wtf? but anyways, i'm not going to be judgemental and do the steriotypical thing and fight back, i'm just on here to defend my buddy. i can vouch for damon's car, i've seen it on the dyno , and i've seen it race, it's a monster out of the hole. i'm not going to go on and on about it, i am personally more of a straight line drive myself, and since damon has not been to the track and i don't see anyone else's times i'm not going to start calling races between cars that i don't know how fast they are. but seriously, don't come on our board demanding respect and then not showing the same to one of our mods, damon is a great guy, awesome to chill with, has a great family, nice car, and just all around great guy, so i've got his back totally on this one. and fyi that corvette he raced is fast yes, but i think you ppl have a misperception of what a corvette is , it isn't some superbeast, it's not unbeatable. a base model corvette isn't all that fast, a z06 is, but not a base model, it's not hard to believe that any modified, light weight, v8 , and some modded v6s couldn't beat. i have a bolt on, light 98 ls1, est track time 11.9, when it was a tad bit less than stock it ran a 12.7@112, i'm not bragging,but my car put alot of length when it was recently pinned up against a new corvette, so there ya go, again not bragging,but i wanted to prove that those things are not the only fast car on the road. stop doubting and start racing
