hey ken i just wanted to know if i could run your type r boosted just so i could see the difference in goin one way or the other after a tune of course. You will probably kill me but i just want to know. i have to do something since gregg boosted the s2k.

Lets keep in mind that we ran at a terrible speed for my car, which was optimal for you. Also, I was running a rediculously low RPM when we took-off...if I recall it was around 3k RPM, which allowed you to stay somewhat close in the beginning. We also ran to a really high speed...over 120, and you still couldnt catch me. If we had run again with me in a lower gear to start, which I would definately do next time, I would have been so far in-front of you in the beginning that you would have had no chance to catch up.
If I end up keeping my sti and have it out again, apparently we need to redo this so you can see.

Stock EVO?
2 years ago I was pulling on stock EVOs from a 60 roll with my then 180whp (3000 lb) 944S2. Past 130, it was a joke; I was ahead by 7 or 8 cars and pulling.
Your EVO must not be stock, cause he pulls away from stock 350Zs (which in turn happen to pull from stock EVOs past 120).

I used to enjoy doing that just to feel the pull a bit and then just lay back and cruise once up to speed. Sorry to have jumped you if you felt that way. I saw you weaving through traffic somewhat agressively and then getting to the head of the pack in one of the two left turn lanes at the stoplight, so I thought I'd take the other one...
But I don't see how I did a ricer flyby at 100 if we started at the same time.....? You make it seem as if just came running up next to you and dropped gears. I rode pacing next to you and when you got on it - I rolled onto the throttle too. It did look like you dropped back rather quickly (too quickly) after I ran out 2nd and shifted into 3rd and kept going... That's why I posted on here. I don't know much about the 350's other than that they are competition for the s2k, which I wouldn't be too worried about in a straight line. However, I'm just driving around street tuning and happened to see you.
I'm not trying to be controversial.
Next time I'll just leave you alone, seeing as how you aren't the racing type. Thanks for posting your side of the story. Good lookin car, btw.

jsut you let you know im his brother and he is definately not the racing type he will speed and get on it at times but who doesn't if they drive a fairly quick car. if youve been in the car you barely see anything out and he is probably in a hurry to go somewhere because he does work and has to run alot of errands. but even if you challenged him to a race im sure he would not accept because he could care less about proving himself to a bunch or import racers. fixing up cars is just a hobby he use to do and now he just drives it around. trust me if he wanted to spend money on it he would have had enough power to make you cry. just trust me ive known the guy and his money doesn't put his money into that stuff anymore.
