Yes there are lots of reason I don't want to run him on the street none having to do with his car or mine. To me the part where you say get a car to hook on the street and you have done something just says to me that you know that the car can't beat the other car at the track and your hoping to fluke win on the street. The track tells no lies like people do. When someone lets there arms down on the street someone can jump and argue about it for 3 hours in a parking lot. At the track you move before the tree your red lighted and its over simple and easy no arguing and violance. I don't like the track, but it saves alot of yelling and arguing all night long.

see thats not exactly correct, i cant count how many times i've seen a 7.50 car out run a 6.50 car on the street, missed gear, gone up in smoke, etc. etc. take a bare ass street and your going to tell me it hooks as good as a track. i think not man. im not into the track stars thing. if i was i would be on the nmca site or outlaw 10.5 thats not me. when you go to the track its bascially who makes the most power. on the street all that power aint worth a fuck if you cant put it to the ground. thats my point. why do you think people want to go from a roll cause there shit dont hook.(some prefer to roll race and thats cool)

Hm interesting to see an experienced street fan that knows where and why the Clone stays on the street and probably will remain that way for a very long time. I am pretty sure that I saw several street call outs from Slowhawk in several threads on here so why all of a sudden the track? Not trying to start anything just asking.

I have plenty of cars so no nut swinging here but fairly experienced at the game.

I was not there, but I know all of those guys, and I promise you, noone was about to jump you. Did they not race 2 times? Didn't the camero leave on the GTO the first time? The GTO chased him at first and then slammed on the brakes about 10 ft. out. Everyone knows a chase is a race. That is the only reason there were any words exchanged. It was there fault that noone else was holding the money. They should not have raced a second time. Your boy should have paid up and you could race again for more $$. But I guess everyone makes mistakes. It sure won't happen again.


As for racing me. I would be more than happy to take your $$. Usually my minimum bet is $500, but I will not race you for less than $1000.

Because the last time as went to race with these guys 3 guys tried to jump and I had to pull a gun over and I don't like that type of stuff. Your right I make street callouts all the time but its to people who are mature enough win or lose instead of going into a frenzy about losing there $20.00. Thats why at the track.

Your first sentance says it all Clint. I don't know you ,but you were not there so you can't say for sure. As far as them racing 2 times they did not. I'm not sure what happend when the camaro jumped because I was at the end of the road and only have the end of the race on tape. When they came by me the GTO was 6-7 cars ahead of the camaro and the camaro was still on it. As far as people say he kept racing we were all standing at the supposive 1/4 mark with the camaros freinds. As far as you your brother and his freinds I have no beef with you guys nobody got hurt that night thank god and I think its best for all parties to let it go. As for your $1000 bet I will take that at silver dollar this sunday at the f-body shootout. As far as running me on the street your brother lost that creditbility with me that night sorry thats just how I feel. If you don't want to bring it to the track to run me then we don't have a race. :goodjob: . Just remeber anything can break at a track as well as going up in smoke.

I'm assuming this is the guy in the white SS that lost to the Black Z-28 friday night. He was pissed because the Z left on him and he chased, and lost. The race was only $50 bucks. He was pissed, that we wouldn't redo it. But the rules were discussed before hand, and as always, "a chase is a race"was stated and everyone agreed. So quit crying it was a good race, let it be.
