Default TFS V.3 1/4 times and dyno #'s?

How did you do? Break anything? Dissappointed? Did better then you thought you would? aaand Kills?

I only got 2 runs. 14.7 sounded like i broke sumthin the second time but my car is running fine. And yes im dissappointed cuz i know my car can run a lil' better then that.

    Forgot all about the dyno.

did'nt get to make it to the dyno. i was pissed off about my runs. 1st run i had sweat all over my hand and when i went to grab my shifter to go to 2nd my hand slipped right off. 2nd run the same damn thing happened even though i wiped my hand off before i got to the light. 3rd i toke my shirt off and wiped down the shifter and my hand/arm but still shifted sloppy as hell and ended up with a 14.5. fucking terrible day. i ran 14.1 three times at showdown and that was stock. since then i'v added FMIC, 3inch DP and exhaust. i expected 13's...i did'nt get what i expected

I only got to run twice, and 14.9 with a bogged launch and hot car :-\ AWD is hard as crap to learn

    I couldnt below a 2.3 60ft either time. Sucked, because I was hoping for at least a 1.9 60ft

I cant wait to run at Silver Dollar. Ill never go to commerce again.

I didn't do too well, either. I don't think I'm even going to post my times.

My best run was 13.8@105. I guess i didn't do too bad considering the weather and of course my motor is not up to par.

13.5@108MPH Full interior, street tires and bad turbo. I was waiting for turbo to finish blowing up but the POS didn't. I've done better times with the smaller setup I had.

I may add that commerce needs to do something about that strip!! It gets worse everytime I go race up there.

Tried that after some advice from other rex owners, but I lost boost and bogged. From someone that went from an automatic FWD with nitrous to a 5 speed AWD turbo its a little more difficult since I didnt have any practice.

Yep, that will get it out of the hole, or put a hole in the block if you bog it.

first run was a 13.98 at 100 mph and my best run was 13.8 at 105 mph. I got the times i was hoping for, i coulda ran a little faster i bet if i got my launches down and didn't get that second of bog.

you're bouncing it too much then and launching when the rpms drop too low, hence the bog.

Rather than bog, just slip the clutch longer. Sounds like hell but its better than having the car fall on its face.

Or get a chip with a 2 step.

read .. drive... read ..drive... AWD is hard at 1st.. but piece of cake after you get it down. Dont blame commerce.. That fucking track is only going to make you better.. Is such a sucky track.. that if you can pull decent #'s with what you got , you know you are going to improve at any other, unless is worst.

I almost got that shit down pack now... My car is slow.. but R/t & 60's foot are good. maybe im lucky ?

    I got 4 runs in:

    14.7
    14.7
    15.2
    14.2

    Best R/t .212 / 60 ft 2.01.. is ok i guess... Now I heard the best RT was .5xx?

    I was not participating.

Commerce isn't any worse than the other tracks. If you ran your car at Silver Dollar in this heat you'd get worse times too. Remember - turbo cars are REAL finnicky about heat soaking, humidity, etc. I've been to Commerce when the track runs like shit, and at Silver Dollar when the track runs like shit. It's all about how they prep the track.

And with AWD cars, any 60' above a 2.0 means you're doing something wrong. Once you get the technique down you shouldn't be getting less than a 1.8, no matter how the track is running.

Commerce hurt my feelings. I ran 15.2 twice & 15.0 once, about half a second faster consistently at Silver Dollar.

    at Silver Dollar
Intake temperature sensor was reading an average of 140 F

    Best that day:

    R/T - .012
    60' - 2.339
    1/4 - 15.445
    MPH - 91.76

with my old 210,000 mile motor 142hp/152tq
that was before busted cat, taking out EGR system, 3" catmack NISMO exhaust,
91 cams and 80,000 mile motor.
3" exhaust killed me at low end
with my custom exhaust on my fist run I had 144 tq at 2200 RPM
second dyno with the NISMO I had around 130 at the same RPM
I also changed out the ECU to a manual one, cause I had the auto one.
somebody told me that the manual one runs leaner
but it doesn't, it actually ran richer
after I put all that in, I dynoed 146hp/149tq.
I don't even know how that can be.
I'm thinking the old motor had carbon built up on the pistons witch raised the compression.
those were both done at Mainstream
the ECUs are not tuned very well

then at the track 3 weeks avo or when ever that was at commerce, with the tires at 16 PSI, I dynoed right after I ran a few times and they didn't have any fans for the radiator
    144hp/146tq I think

If I the E-Manage Ultimate and tune it
    I'm expecting about 160hp/170tq

I also got a J30 LSD after the first dyno witch has longer gears

I'm going boost after I get everything I can to be all motor. no headers and internals though
I'll only buy for it what I can use when it's boosted
need to get the other 91 exhaust cam as my intake too

is the guy with the SR coming down this weekend?
KA24DE "There is no replacement for displacement" hmmmmm, that sounds familiar.
