im sure in an ideal world, we woudn't see color or race or age or discrimination, or hate, or war..... a race is a race. if someone initiates and the other complies, its a race and whether or not someone makes a mistake or doesn't, its still a race.

i agree that it would be nice to have all the variables gone so you could see which car is indeed faster, but that will hardly ever be the case since this isn't a perfect world and the conditions in which are presented to us in each "run" will have its own flaws... but the better driver will prevail and sometimes, the better car will lose. in this case.. i believe the better driver and the better car won. what makes u so confident that charles couldn't run any faster than he did?

suck it up and chalk it down as a LOSS. i hate to say this, but WINNING IS WINNING!!! by an inch or a 1/4 mile.. WINNING IS WINNING! own up to ur loss and stop trying to make excuses.. no one wants to hear about this crap anymore...
