    Man, I say run that EVO-Wannabe and put him to his place, but then again, that Lancer could be an OZ edition, just so you know.

    extremely minimal differences between f20c and f22c s2k's in straight line performance, if you want to talk about where the biggest differences are. it'd actually be in handling.. where the 04+ S2k's were softened out a little bit, made the tail end of the car.. a little less happy

    if you really know about the S, it's really not for the drag strip or city racing. if you've driven one with good rubber, you'll know its handling characteristics. sure it's a 4 banger with no torque, but again...that's what all the n00bs say. take it above 6 grand all the way to 9k and tell me it's slow.

    it's not the fastest car on the street, but it's fast enough (could use a bit more power though) for what it is. 2.0 9k VS 2.2 8k? almost similar. depends on the driver as well. 00-03 with 9k band definately is more fun to drive.

    stiffer suspension for the ap1 (00-03)? where'd you hear that? in my knowledge, they stiffened the rear suspension/chassis on the new models.

    e55 amg VS s2k? i hope s2k has nitrous or SC'd. e55's are monsters for what they are. just not in the race category as the S. simply put, they're faster cars than the S- in a straight line only. bring it to the track, or join us in the mountain run this Sunday and the result will be different.

    both are excellent cars. however, they serve different purpose and therefore in diff. cat. trying to argue about who's fast or what not is kinda pointless. my .02

    This is very true but the fact of the matter is, this S2000 guy accpeted a hwy pull not a lap around road atlanta. So the whole comment thing about a mtn run really isn't neccessary....

    Good kill regardless of the chit chat the last 4 pages. I walked one in my 2 tone VW from 70.....then a different time I went from 45-90, and barely beat it, I figure I started in his wheel house, and I know I was too fast for 2nd, too slow for third.
    I love and respect the S2K, but its a curves car naturally, not a 1320. (I know they HAVE been, but not generally)

    i was up at Honda carland last week and i test drove a red stock 02 s2k. It was an alright drive. When vtec kicked in the only diff. i noticed was how much louder it got. But it was a Hawt little car.
