The RIP thread was no place to go into this, so i made another thread for it. This is, by no means, a "bash on anyone" thread, but just a reminder or a "NOW YOU KNOW" type deal.

Everyone that makes comments about watching out for bikes and that certain places aren't the place for bike riding because of cars don't realize that cyclists can be at fault, too. They do a lot of shit on the road that causes hazards for themselves. Most of them zip through traffic, cut people off or change lanes with no signal, and just fly down the highway fast as hell. Cyclists need to treat the road the same way as cars. It seems like they would drive safer because of the risks involved with riding. "Look twice, save a life" is a good campaign, but cyclists should follow the creed as well. Bikes are a lot smaller than cars, thus harder to see. It's almost hypocritical for a cyclist to say "WATCH OUT!" when he is flying through a congested area and zipping in and out of cars.

I'm not saying they all do it, but it is a majority. I am also not anti-motorcycle as I have been wanting a CBR for quite some time, myself. One more thing. This is not directed towards the RIP thread in saying this is what happened to him. Later, QD.
