    Talking

I agree Julio, a 1.8T outta win .....from a dead stop... not a highway roll when the accords weight is no longer a factor, and an auto tranny actually helps
A win is a win, and part of that is knowing when NOT to race....Mhmmm PAUL!! :P

    Hahha... ok.. :p

after seeing what the VW ran at the track and seeing what times it was doing, Only way you could take the hatch is only at high speeds. from a roll, I highly doubted.

Im sure you wont be stock once I get the EG ready.

How can your car run a mid to low 15 when It hasn't? C'mon Paul you know better, stop reading sport compact and snap back into reality.. haha

    The track is no joke.......

You need to get some seat time at the track and you will know what im talking about.

I have seen stock GTIs run 14.8 w/ no mods, just great driving. Paul, whenever you want to drop 1.5 secs off that time, I'll get ya in a chip if ya want.

Stock V6 accords run 16's? Maybe the old ones. The new accord's v6 are running high 14 's stock.

no way w/ bolt on's would protege beat 1.8t, unless the person totally couldn't drive... he probably was in a 2.0, what hp/lbs is your car rated from the factory???

it was a gold, 1.8t gti 4dr i think..125hp.115tq is what the protege is rated at stock. ANd this summer stock at commerce i ran a 16.5 bone stock with the a/c and all that still on the car. my car weighs 2400lbs with everything, allt he shit ive taken out ahs to be atleast 300lbs+. it was a gti he had his boost gauge etc and i could hear it spool, btu it was dead stock..as far as i could tell.

they only made 4dr 1.8t for 2 years, which is what i have, and gold wasn't a color choice if i'm not mistaken (i've never seen one). like i said before it was probably a 2.0 w/ a gauge pod. b/c a new golf would be well over 150hp/160lbs of torque to the wheels b/c they are running a k03s.

we can run our cars and find out

Easy, both cars are literally stock.

the accord dynoed at 196 hp to the wheels 167 tq.... Hes car dynoed at 147 or 150 and like 160+ tq.

Stock those cars are not much to talk about. Now after mods, diffrent stories.

well here are some excuses of why he lost, turbo lag, cant drive, a combo of can't drive and turbo lag.

Or the accord is pretty quick
