I used to kill stock c5's with my stock b series in a hatch. So, i kind of expected a boosted swap to win..

They run mid 13's stock, z06 mid 12's in that year, find a zo6, be much closer run!

I've been trying to find stuff on the hwy to run. No one usually messes around with me. I guess I'll have to go into ricer mode to instigate some runs lol

    Sounds good will!!

Bobby I need some dr or slicks for the track. Just don't have the funds at the moment for them. Street tires would be pointless.

His car won't be tuned anytime soon, and it's for sale for 9k . Then if he loses he'll talk about it not being setup for drag. Don't waste your time here Brooks.

What does it being fs have anything to do with running my car on the high way. I dont have to re tune if I don't want. I only changed the intake mani. It's not setup to drag, but from a 40 roll ill drag this honda all the way down 85.

Stock internals are forged last time I checked. Obviously strong enough to hold up on 360whp. A gsr deff couldn't make that kind of power (reliably) on a stock bottom end. I drive a coupe not a hatch, so you were kind of close.

I would like to know where you saw that the stock bottom end was forged. The word cast does not equal forged, so maybe you should read a little more often. The stock bottom will hold 360, with a good tune, which isn't possible with an afc.

Btw, car looks good Brooks. Hopefully I can get mine back up soon and we can have a little fun.

Lol my car is perfect with just safc and very reliable. What I meant was, stock internals of a sr are totally different then that of a gsr. I just rebuilt the motor, I'm sure ill be ok guy. Thanks for your concerns. Now if I was venturing past 450whp sure I'd build the bottom end. I've taken care of the srs main weak points. Hg, head studs, race bearings, s14 oil pick up, oil pump, rocker arm stoppers. I had it tuned by sammy so I'm sure its safe since ive never seen a car tuned by him blow up (bc of said tune).

I guess what you really meant was, that you have no idea what you mean. And yeah, I'm sure your work will speak for itself. Are you sure that you had it tuned by Sammy or did the previous owner? From your build thread "Specs: unknown was told it made 346whp at 19psi but can't be certain since the previous owner fibs." And about the AFC, did he adjust your timing or just the fuel?

He did I've spoken to him many times. He adjusted timing as well as fuel. The iacv was bad when I first got it other then that it was perfect. I'm still having it re tuned for piece of mind. Better safe then sorry. I'm cranking the boost up and getting power fc.

The AFC doesn't have the ability to adjust timing, nice try though. And a 2871 is useless past 20psi, so you can't crank too far. I would say about one more psi. I have a redtop power fc l-jetro I'd sell you, with commander.

Ever hear of a timing light? Lol I mean he did adjust the timing, but not as great as you would with a standalone of course. I know what a piggy back can and cant do.

I have a black top. I think the pfc for the black top was a little different, am I correct?

Should have been more specific and said ignition timing, which is just as, if not more, important as the fuel map. And from what I have seen, as long as the blacktop isn't a type x, from 96-98, then they are interchangeable. But it might require repinning or switching a couple wires.

I drift for fun. Look at my build thread. I got tge car swapped, but I've done a lot. You wouldn't know its the same car. I drift to have fun. I don't stereotype hondas so why are you stereotyping me?

Nicer? Pig nose is now wide body aero silvia front end, hacked wiring is now re done and shrink wrapped, motor fully rebuilt, engine bay painted, roll cage, new suspension ect ect. I don't know who told you that but their wrong. The car is 40x better then it was.

It looks like you used aluminum foil to heat wrap your ic piping and can you define "roll cage" did you build it? Will it pass tech at any real event?
