If you go to the hang out spot in macon there are no 12 sec or better cars out there, there might be one that passes. thru but dont stay cuz there is no competition. When i had my GTO and i hung out i could not get a race to save my life. They heard the cam and was instantly scared.

I never raced david because the motor blew a piston ring, and i didnt want to rebuild because i just fixed the irs and didnt wanna put no more money it so i said fuck it.

I've told you plenty of times - I know some really fast guys in the Macon area that will get down on the street. Folks that don't just drive around, they go to a specific place, put the money down, and get to it. You are not anywhere close to them, as no one on this forum runs anywhere close to any of them.

Well I tried to make a pass on street tires at the the track and I dominated my clutch. I coasted to a 14.6 at 110. Lol. So I put a new comp stage 4 w heavy duty pp in. Gonna get some miles on it and try again on my 24.5 m&h racemasters.

your going to need more than a stage 4. I had a CC stage 5 with upgraded pp in my old setup with 400whp. A few launches on 24.5s are gonna hurt it

Yes sir . Its not the hp you making man its the 24.5 lol. You got to launch them at high rpms not to boog . launching at 7,000-8,000 (im guessin) with no spin at all is going to put a hurt on it Try running 20 psi in them . Then work your way down till they barely spin that will help out your clutch alot. Dont try launching any lower thinking it will be better on them because if they hook and dont spin a little its murder on that clutch . Good luck man.

Yeah, that's the plan. It'll be my first time on slicks so ill definitely take you're advice. Launch is at 68 and its building 12psi off of the launch control.

keeping the slicks spinning a little also helps on the axles. The only axle ive ever broke was a gator axle the advance and orielys work fine lmao. i broke it on drag radials by not preloading because i just new i was going to blew the radials off since i left at the same rpms i do on slicks. for some reason (good track prep im sure) they actually hooked that day first pass destroyed axle.

Thats a whole lot of weight that i would rather not add unless i had to . If you get your car right in your case i could understand why.
