LOL bobby do you really think your car is that fast? In that video Luis backs out after 10 seconds just a short ways into 5th. He had 215/45/15 toyos on the car at the time, which is a 22.6" tire. very short. With the low revs he was pulling (8100 or so), and the type-r tranny he would only do about 95 in 4th, because I remember it only did 98mph @ 8500rpm. So he was right at 100mph or a couple mph higher when he let out. I'll give you 35-105 in 10 seconds in that video.

But why even try to compare youtube videos to each other. sure you can make observations about a single video... but comparing two youtube videos filmed under who knows what circumstances... is worse than trying to compare mainstream dyno #s to everyone elses

GSR 3rd gear and I went to forth for a sec, thats over 110-115.. :P But to answer the question, no my car is slow!! Is it fun? yes!!

Videos are not a good way to compare, but you guys sure did argue on k20 about time, distance traveled, etc.. All that mumbo jumbo i'll leave for you and Mike to explain!! :P

But I have to say this since I know your good with numbers, I told you the gear... Now I will tell you the tire, it's a 24 inch DR (225/50/15).. My final drive at the time was a 4.4 redline was 9500.. Go to your lab and come back with my speed at 3-4 shift.. KK? LOL

Just saw your edit... go measure the rollout on your "24 inch" DRs and divide by pi. I'd be curious to see how they turn out. mine come to about 23.5 inches when fresh, 23.2 when worn a bit.

ok so it's only a 3.3% difference from 24.0 to 23.2, but at 120mph that is a 4mph error in the calculation
