Default First Kill in the RX7 (Video)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeigP...embedded#at=17

On a closed road in mexico.....

We raced 4 times and he was looking at Mazda tail lights all 4 times

    My car
    1988 Rx7
    Ls1 stock cubes
    Built bottom end
    ARP errwhere
    317 heads
    Typhoon intake
    PT 67/65 Billet wheel
    Tune @ 10psi 455/475
    Im on radials

    His car:
    2001 Camaro SS
Stock ls1 w heads, cam, longtubes, 6spd, N20 (wouldnt say what pill, turns out it didnt matter! HA!), on slicks.

The best part is, before the race, he was told "its just a 400whp Mazda....."

It has a cam in it. Its a custom cam from Comp. Its a 600+whp motor, the th350 soaks up a bunch of power. It didnt load the motor on the dyno til 5800rpm.

pretty badass car. as much as i'd love to see a rotary still in it, cant say anything about a boosted ls series engine.

Yea i was somewhat dissapointed in the dyno numbers but then I drove it on the interstate......It would almost be too fast for the street if it made anymore. It rolls white smoke at 70mph on 275 drag radials.......I like to tell people "Yea, it ONLY makes 455whp "

The dude in the camaro was told "Its a 400hp mazda" lol

Guess your one of those dyno number freaks. It's not all about the numbers they print out for you.

EXACTLY.....Ill take the 450whp car that runs 6s in the 1/8 vs the 550whp car that runs 8s......(coming from a guy with both)

Plus its fun to say....."yea it ONLY makes 455....Wanna run 'em? "
