I do have to kind of laugh at the idea of the 350Z spraying since the APS kit just cannot be tuned for it.

With that said there are plenty of 350Z's running 11's at 10psi but of course they're not trapping 120+mph.. fastest street 350Z or G35 I've seen on the boards has been around 11.1 @ 122mph and that was a G35.

High trap speeds indicate low 60s, My integra on street tires ran 13.3 at 113 with a 2.6 60ft, same as the Z if it could hook a little better (and it will) it will have a slower trap but faster e.t

Man nice times for the 350Z. Maybe we should have a rematch some time? I'll be on ET streets, oh i'm still on my crappy tune and soon to be replaced valve springs.

A birdie told me that a nitrous kit was being put on the 350Z as well last week, so that would expalin alot

the car was at my house for the past week and i can tell you there is and never was any nitrous on this car.its running a bolt-on twin turbo kit at 10 lbs. the motor is completly stock,doesn't even have a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator....if you think you know so much about this car mike, i'll put 1000 cash up that there is no nitrous and never has been nitrous on this car.we'll go back to the track and run it again,after you do a complete inspection...so put a G up and lets get this over with. :2up:

if he is trapping 126MPH, which is what was said, i said there is NO FUCKING WAY. i never doubted the times, im doubting the TRAP SPEED at which the times were run. if he is trapping 126MPH with 10psi and under 500whp, then its got the bottle.

116mph-117mph which is what shane posted makes sense.

I never knew that the trap speed was said to be 126, I have all slips from sat. at my house. This weekend like I said it will be in the 11s, we are still working on the traction issue and I have parts on there way for it. Traction is the only thing keeping it from the 11s.

Well I can understand that, but your always jumping the gun, just cause I have something to do with the car IT HAS to have nitrous. Thats not always the case. I race to win and what ever I need to win I get... Thats all.

i only jumped the gun AFTER i read the trap speed, and to me, it makes sense that it had nitrous, ESPECIALLY since someone told me you reccomended NItrous to the owner, and they called ME wanting my opinion on it on friday.

so i put 2 + 2 together.

sorry shane, you always have nitrous, and you always admit it. so i ASSUMED. t hen when you posted the correct trap speed, i retracted my statement.

i stil dont see were i JUMPED the gun

All I have to say is that some people like nitrous, some like turbo, and some like N/A. Everyone always thinks there right, but there is always exceptions to the rule. I never recommended nitrous to the owner, I recommended a sprayer that was all, I woulnd want to fell responsible for there motor blowing. They're not decided so all Im doing it working on the chaisis to get it to hook better and a shifter cause the factory knob slips right off, which is a bad design.

agreed on the shifter knob, it slipped out of my hands so many times at the track, i have tried a bunch of them with same outcome, its just the sitting position in the Z and length of the shift lever and driver height that fight against each other i would say, finally i found an S14 shift Nismo leather knob, they sell em at nissan dealers, i beleive their price is dropped down to 79.99, it looks good, its light (counterweight is retarded on a Z) and it makes throws so much shorter than the unnecessarily tall stock knob, as dumb as it sounds.. its one of the most driver effective mods for the Z. tell susan to ask to see it when i see her again. we'll trade knobs for a bit see how they like it.

I have already orderd a shifter and a Knob, I ordederd the nismo knob it was about 60 or so, it has a bolt on the top that hold it in place.

god damn,get off vteckidds nutz...the owner posted on the drag and brag forum the car ran 12.2@126 and obviously if that mph was right it would need to be on the gas. It was obviously a typo since shane has posted the timeslips so no need for further bantering about the nitrous issue.

no , the owner posted a 126mph trapspeed. if that was correct the car was on the bottle.

Shane posted the CORRECT trapspeed of 116mph, i then said that i believe that.

if you read where the car trapped 126mph and DIDNT Think it was on the bottle, then you are the one that doesnt know what hes talking about.
