    Default Brother vs brother

    My brother has a fully gutted 92-95 Civic Hatch and i mean gutted. He doesn't even have the dash pad in the car anymore, just the gauge cluster attached to the dash beam, one seat, no other int. pieces at all, no bumper supports, no ac and fixing to remove the heat. His mods are a b18b, si trans(shorter gearing vs the stock ls teg tranny), intake, header and exhaust. I think the car just barely weighs in over 2k without him.

    Vs my full int. and leather with power everything. Mods include intake, or xpipe, slp mufflers and 3.73's...

    A 05 Monte Carlo SS with a ls4 tuned with exhaust was the camera car. It dynoed 267/309.

    I'm suprised you didn't beat him by more than what you did... Were you shifting early and slowly?

    That non vtec civic runs 14.5's as it sits. The cobra needs a good tune and some better tires. From a roll it's no contest. The launch on the dig run was at 1500rpms on crappy tires. Besides it's a n/a 4v car that weighs 3500lbs with me in it.

    That would be pretty much the same outcome as mine from the roll there whiteboy. LOL Not even close.

    Got a friend now i'm trying to pick a kit up from for cheap!

    It has gone high 13s on decent rubber (borrowed BFG KDWs). Other than that it has never been on a DR or slick. It has gone 14.1 on the budget Firestone tires I have on it right now. B18B in a 91 Civic Wagon - full weight. You game?

    Is that the civic you raced my Mach 1 in griffin with? Def. was a sleeper. Baby j is def a straight forward guy. Prob my favorite race cause you don't seem to care about winning or the money as much as you just seemed like you really enjoy racing regardless of what your running.

    ^^ Yes. When we ran it was a stock block (+ 50 shot wet) on an LS gearbox with no LSD. I now have a built motor - proper gearing (with LSD) and a whole lot more nitrous. LOL

    That was a fun night - anymore additions to the Mach??

    Thanx for the props - I try to be a stand-up guy. I am 31 years old so the days where I was grimy and there was nothing more important than a win/race wasSOOOO 15 years ago. I was a force from the time when I was 16 - 21. I miss the fun that I had but I don't miss being that guy. People take the fun out of these days --- I can get my kicks by keeping my old ass at home and letting the kids have it.
