Well if you really wanna get technical, than neither does the IX or X. It has a stationary rev limiter programmed in the ECU to protect the transmission and transfercase from being destroyed. Thats why 03 and 04s have the reputation of having a weak drivetrain....because morons dump the clutch at 7k rpm, grenade their shit, then try to get it fixed under warranty. Mitsu had enough and with the introduction of ACD they also added the stationary rev limiter in the 05 VIIIs.

ok jamil wft??? both have intake and exhaust, turbo vs n/a, jamil im not tryin to talk shit or be an asshole but u need to work on your drivin skills. u can do so much more then will could just because the set up of each car. u SHOULD of dominated him from a dig AND from a roll. jamil ill run u in my auto 325 and if its anywhere close then u need some driving help.......bad

I'd like to see the S2k run a evo with a better driver.The s2k didnt even launch hard the evo should have jumped at least 2 cars from a dig Idc if it had a passenger or not.

i think it should have been a closer match then it was... even if jamils clutch was slipping its not like the s2k's wasn't.... it really shouldn't have made a difference if both the cars have slipping clutches...
