A good callout. The only problem I see is that you have actually run 9's and BStone is still hoping his car will stay together long enough to run 9's.

Actually I ran a 9.7 last weekend shifting from 1st to 3rd. I heard you was a LWA's a few weeks ago trying to get the scoop on my my new motor.LOL. We just installed new valve springs this week so noww I can actually rev the motor to my shift point. I will be at SDR tommorrow if you want to come and do some runs as well.

you see, the s2k is not a car that likes to be drag raced. it puts up fits all the time. the tranny problem has been fixed. i broke some different shit i wasnt even thinking was gonna break. so thats what i have been waiting on
or Vs versus.... only time will tell.....
it wont be....you cant win running 11 seconds one pass then 10s the nest, then maybe some low 12s after that, then back into the 10s, then back to the 11s. you gotta be consistantor Vs versus.... only time will tell.....

Carey went 10.40s and went through 2 trannys - broke the r200 diff twice on a 10.40 tune. Reworked tranny and another diff (I sourced the diff for him here on IA and had shipped to Indy) and now repeatedly runs high 9s (new rear suspension setup) w/out tearing shit up. STONE if your S completes a sub 10.40 pass and or goes faster than 140mph I'll pay for your dinner after the run.

carey ran a 9.9 once. he is using inline pro's old motor with a e85 instead. i know what he ran. he has a nice set up. my set up is like inline pro's new set up. except im full street weight. his car is fast and i congratulate him. i just dont tell everyone what im doing, its nice to see another street s2k handle business. by the way, we are going to ruth chris so save your money upPROPS to STONE for accepting a callout. So, with you in the car, plus the turbo stuff, you should weigh in at around 3000 lbs, right? That's still reasonably light.
Does your car have a cage? If not, it won't pass tech for any NHRA track, right?
