It breaks my heart to see such a "hard core" racer like this kid not be able race because he is short on dough. I mean, it is understandable considering he has no prospects of making any appreciable income with the lack of education he has.Originally Posted by Thacker44

InconTT's car is just that... a twin turbo large cube LSX compared to my stock Ls1 with a cam and some nitrous. His car is out of my league in the opposite direction. He has more money in the motor than I have in the entire car, once again... not a fair race.
That being said, we'll do this for ya. If you show up in either your Michael Jackson tribute Camaro or the "Bondo Goat" & race some of the folks at MCE's Track Day on November 21st, 2009 at SDR, we will give you $50 for gas. Even if your junk gets only 10 mpg,
worse case scenario thats 20 gallons of gas round trip from Palmetto to SDR. In addition, I will still give you your tech card for free. Can't beat that.
Now I know what your thinking. "I can't go anywhere! I might get slapped around again like the last time I went to a race".
FEAR NOT LITTLE MAN! There is a uniformed police officer that regularly patrols the track. You can run to him anytime you feel threatened or scared of a repeat of that infamous night in the Summer of 08. Remember he's there for YOUR protection.
Now there is no guarantee that you won't be laughed at, verbally picked on, mocked, etc. But it would be an opportunity to act like a man & show up to race instead of hiding in the confines of your room playing bootleg versions of Forza all day.
Your call. Have a nice day
