I'll race whomever for a grand.
did this ever happen or what?
what does wrong motor mean?
its not happeneing till prob FRI, i got in touch with him today but hes busy.
i just waste 10 minutes reading this thread!!!
it a Bull-shit call out>
Is this Patrick with the white vette?
I checked the address on the photo that didnt show up and it is a white vette so Im guessing it is the same guy. Either way my money is on Vteckidd. Thats betting on him with nothing other than just running allmotor 4banger.
I'm guessing none of you read the tags to this thread right?
Yeah i made up a name to talk to myself and call myself out.
Makes total sense
Well if it is the Patrick with a white vette I think it is, he is in town. I taked to him about 10ish days ago. He did say he was in town for several weeks. About 3yrs ago I sold him a glock 19. I checked his license and saw he was 21+. That was it, I gave him the gun and he gave me the cash. Last week I asked him about the glock since it was still in my name and he sold it to his dad, then his dad sold it to his boss, so If someone gets killed down the road, the feds are gonna be knocking on my door lol. Anyway while talking with Patrick, we talked about times and trap at the track so it should be pretty close but l still have my money on Mike.
its prob the same guy then.
Despite its a bolt-on vette vs bolt-on 4cyl, I think you got him.
Good stuff!!! Not exactly the high HP car you were wanting to race though.
Mike, if ya'll end up doing it out this way give me a buzz. I'll be working till about 8 or so anyway.
You 2 type the same.....
-Ant.
That's a good one. I think valvetrain is actually bolt-on. Once you get into porting I think it's not. If some1 refreshed the head w/ STOCK parts and seals on a car w/ a I/H/E you'd still call it a "bolt-on" car. So refreshing the head w/ aftermmarket goodies is the same (IMO). Still stock compression - still stock bore. BOLT-ON
people always say a cam is a bolt on,but idk......i think anything u have to take the engine apart is not really a "bolt on"
I have cams in mine and I truly consider the car a bolt-on car. I think certain valvetrain components are bolt-ons such as cams, retainers, valve springs, camgears. Things like oversized valves, Ported heads, valve jobs etc are not bolt-ons. Nitrous I dont know as far as being a bolt-on as several systems require drilling or machining. One thing that I cant grasp is how some consider nitrous on a car a NA car.
EDIT: wrong thread ( meant for Desi thread), There are just so many!!
He already said he shifts at 9500. I shift at 8500 and when I shifted he kept in his powerband and beat me. Plus he's got a throttle response that will snap necks.
BOlts ons, tought debate. i think anything you dont have to pull the motor apart is a bolt on.
I dont consider Cams, Springs, ret major engine mods if you have a stock head and block.
I can shift at 10,000 if i need to
bolt-ons FTW! :goodjob:
oh and i shift at 6,400 because i can.
i dont think of nitrous as forced induction. it doesnt force more air in. In a forced induction setup you see positive IM pressure. With nitrous, you still only have 0 vacuum. unless it goes positive, its not forced induction; in my book anyway.
air is oxygen right? NO2 is nitrous 1 part nitrogen 2 parts oxygen so when you hit that little button other than nitrogen what are u forcing in you motor:thinking:
Forced induction is a term used to describe internal combustion engines that are not naturally aspirated. A gas compressor is added to the air intake instead, thereby increasing the quantity of oxygen available for combustion
jus sayn:boobies:
Ok let's not use forced induction let's use the term power adder
I prefer chemical induction myself, no matter how accurate.
HAH!
So my car is a bolton thanks to this thread. That's just stupid.
cams, droppin valve train, retainers, and springs is bolt on? Drop in pistions/rods will also be a bolt on mod? So a car with upgraded valve train, and drop in forged pistons & rods with no overboring will be considered a bolt on car?
I consider bolt-on as it says....you simply bolt it on like intake/headers/exhaust/etc. Anything you don't have to tear a motor apart for.
So this run is going down tonight, who's videoing it, and going?
soooo when is this going down?
^ x2
lol hell just bring it down to Import Show down....then you can beat him and we can line up a few more sport compacts to shit on his breakfast.
