Well i guess people arent balling out of control like you that they can put extra strain on a tranny without regards to the possible damage. but at the same time what is 10 more mph going to prove? he goes into 5th and it is a low OD gear, with just throwing numbers out of a .68, then it would be a crusing gear with a good lose in power going from 4th-5th!
put it this way, in 4th gear at 85mph im doing 6500 rpms :P
Im not an asshole, if for some reason i put a car on you after the jump and you are reeling me back in HARD by 100mph, ill give you the win assuming i could go to 120.
20-100 is all im willing to do, thats all my car can run to. My car traps 100mph in the 1/4.

who did you run Chunky? the EM2? They have 6 speed trannys ,i dont.
I have a 200whp honda, you have a TURBO AWD WRX. IIRC your car made around or close to 300whp, you prob make a shit load more TQ than i do.
So from a dig, im keeping my tires, from a roll it doesnt matter we both wont have any traction issues.
I CANNOT SHIFT INTO 5th GEAR, its not gonna happen, sorry, my car isnt built like all you big power turbo guys, its an NA honda, short gearing, light chassis, high RPM.

Last i saw my numbers it was 278whp/285tq, with upgrade I am up a bit, not shit loads more.
ill TRY to go to 110mph but my car isnt as stable at those speeds like your car is.
i rev to 8000, im just saying do the math, 25mph from 1500rpms is pushing it
im sure its safe to say you are 300/300 or close to it, so from a roll you should put bus lengths on me. Chunky is faster than me from a roll, and i think you put cars on him so if that gives you an idea.
20-110 is fine, but ill prob lift at 100mph anyways, unless its stupid close (which i doubt it will be). by 80 you should be 2-3 cars out in front

ITR b18c5 in there if read correctly, doesn't stock ITR motor revs to 9k? You just upgraded the valvetrain then bumped down your shifting point to 8k?
chunky told me you got him from slow roll before the valvetrain upgrade. I only put a car on him.

You gotta look at what RPM's you are at in the next gear when you shift, it's more important than how much you're making in the current gear at those RPM's.
My car starts dropping off after 6600 RPM's, but I still rev to 7k before shifting because I have about 40 more rwhp in the next gear than if I shifted at 6600.
If you really want to tweak your drag racing, use a gear calculator and your dynograph, and figure out the best shift point for each gear.
