    Default h22 hatch vs new s2k

    I dont post anything in here but this one has to go up.....

    So i going to pick up some stuff i was buying off ia . Just rolling down 985 testing out the new omni power full coilovers. As i get onto 85 i see some HID's comming up kinda quick{i was only doing 80}. So im thinking its a viper or some shit ..nope it was a s2k. Now anybody who knows me knows i was thinking about a rsx type s or s2k before i went with the hatch. So i have been wanting to race one for a while to see if i was faster. So it comes up next to me all new with the dealer tag on it . I could see form the date it was about 2 weeks old . I rode next to him to see if he was game . I look over and see a air/natl guard or some kinda army thing hanging from his rearview , i think no way he will race. Look over at him and hes all clean cut looking very army..lol..

    So i rev a little , well this got a look . We are off i got a jump a little at the start . I was in 3rd at 7k dunno about him . I pull about 2 cars by mid 4th. So he comes up with his hands up like i started before him {i kinda did} . So i drop it to 3rd hold it till i see him {and hear him} get on it. Im in 3rd ...4th comes quick hes dropping back ...1 car ..2 cars...3 cars.. heres 5th...i keep in it till about 130ish{the very first of 5th}...Look back and hes a good ways back ...He comes up gives me a smile and a big thumbs up. So now i love my hatch a little more....Soon the nitrous goes in ...weeeeeeeee

    Well right now i still have the stock fuel pump....So no nitrous for me..I gotta get one..As for what i have now..

    Hondata tuned by Ed
    intake , catback ....bla bla...dsm 450,s ...skunk 2 cam gears..Not a lot really..But its making good power..I bet that hatch is fast on the 50 shot....

    the only way an s2000 would not get pulled on that hard from the get go would be from a 60+ roll, even at 60 i get pulled on real hard on the get go by h22 hatches, the only two ive raced i've caught em by about 100 and creep away after that in the Z

    you should be hitting mid 12's with a 50 shot...

    Hopefully ...i ran a 13.8 all stock other than the swap..I had no boltons..

    He was trying the whole time...I saw him let off at around 120ish cause he flashed his lights at me..I thought he would kill me from a roll...

    Nice kill, I have a H22 Hatch also.

    S2000's aren't very fast though, you can do a lot better. Trust me.

    I did 13.8@100 with stock header also, . Good times, hah.

    Yea now i know they are not up to pace with the hatch. I thought he would do a little better but weight owned him... Also i did the 13.8 with stock EVERYTHING all i had was a filter shoved on my stock lude intake arm...no nothing...lol

    What all do you have in your hatch? You can pm it to me if ya want... I cant wait till the nitrous. If it does half what it did in my lude ill be happy....

    what kind of tires did u use (radials or street tires) and what was ur 60ft? just would like to know...

    how does ur omni feel? in the market for a set myself lol

    I had slicks but it was my first night out with them and the car...lol.. i had a 2.0 60' ..bla i know. Im gonna be there this friday with the new setup ...Hopefully better times. I LOVE the omnis...The rides good and made my car launch and handle better. The get a A+++ from me..

    We'll be in the white hatch with the ISP sticker on the 1/4 panel and no front bumper....

    99% of the time we go to commerce. yeah peter does work on VW... he worked on a VW jetta for one of our church members

    I did it with stock header, 2.5" exhaust, and short air intake.

    Bee, if you want to try out the Omni's Ill let you drive my car. I love them. I have the Sport version's. The more stiff ones, I'm assuming you'll want the drag ones though, eh?

    Key words were...my first night EVER with the car or slicks..I was getting 2.0 60' ..I only ran 3 times..lol...But yea we can race at commerce..Ill be there...

    Goinfast not saying your car is slow at all.. But S2K's are the worse performace for the buck cars I've seen. Just my 2 cents.
