    Default 240 vs newer vette

I was leaving the varsity meet and on the way home what appeared to be an 04 vette with dealer tags fly past me doing 100 and slowed down 10 cars ahead of me I caught up to him and we went from 70mph, I immediatly walked him bad and kept pulling until we shut down at about 125mph. I had him by atleast 4 cars then we ran from 50 and it was even worse. I dont know much about vettes but the look on that guys face after he spent all that money on that car and got beat by a POS 240 was priceless.

I dont know much about vettes but it was not a z06, does anyone know the specs on the an 04 vette.

Just raced a silver 05 c6 vette (I think that is what the owner said) on the hwy, it was bone stock and we ran a few times and I beat him by a couple cars or more each time. When we got back to the spot where we hang out at he swore I had nitrous in the car and asked me not to tell anyone that he lost and then he lost to the black supra I beat last week.

did you turn up the boost? Those C6s should be trapping well over 110 mph bone stock. hell i had a buddy with a stock 2001 C5 and he ran 12.8@114 mph bone stock in some good air.

I'd like to race this SR240. If you beat a C6 by a couple of cars on the hwy we should be about even.

My SR putting down 310rwhp/321rwtq hung side by side with a yellow 02 Z06.

the LSX engines respond so well to mods.. i think 2001 and before were 345/345 and the newer ones were 350/350. different cams.

the ls6 aka z06 has higher flowing heads and intake with slightly larger cam. and weighs less.. man how bout that new 427 Z06... 505 hp!!!

the C4s are where its at.

i think c5s all motor stock stroke can ger to aroun 410-420 rwhp.

fastest time in the world for stock c5 is 12.6xx.

i saw a vid new c6 vs c5, both stock.
c5 won 1/4 mile and c6 pulled on the high way. too bad most of the vette guys round here are cocky bastards..
