The g-r spot first mentioned does have a slight incline. I know of a couple OG places that are pretty flat and quiet these days.

He seems to be an excuse factory.

When you get outran all the time, you get a lot of practice at coming up with excuses I guess. His are sometimes pretty good, and at least they are varied.
