Furthermore i am EFI University Certified, ive been around tuners for the last 7 years, worked (or bounced i guess) at 2 different shops that were heavily involved in high performance cars.

I disagree with Buschurs pump gas claims. I think its the wrong way to do things. You cant have 1 an not the other.
If anyone would like to explain
1) How do you run 30+ Psi on 93 OCTANE WITH NO FUEL ADDITVES, when no one else can?
2) What is his IGNITION TIMING values at WOT
3) Based on the answer to #2(cause i know the answer already), how can you run such low timing and not have high EGTs?
4) How can this motor last any amount of time based upon the given ignition timing, low octane fuel, high cylinder pressure and boost and heat. How do you cool the cylinder?
5) Its almost impossible for an engine to run at such low VE an make the numbers he is claiming.
6) How come ONLY BUSCHUR seems to be able to do this MAGIC of high boost pump gas machines? How come everyone ive talked to with MORE experience than me says its NOT POSSIBLE including EFI UNIVERSITY INSTRUCTORS and SHOPS THAT PEOPLE IN THIS THREAD SWEAR BY. I wont name names as to not get them in trouble.
Now i knows bushurs response an its "my superior camshafts and head design". THen i asked him even more in depth questions and his response was "im not an engineer ive never been good with technical stuff".
WHJAT? How can you say the cams you ENGINEER and the head you PORT is the reason, yet you dont know WHY?
Maybe im just looking for real world answers not the typical "i dunno".
But then again i know real engine builders and they can answer these questions.
Also most of the graphs from his cars have been
1) VERY LAGGY compared to other cars
2) DOwn on power for the turbo size (hes usually 50-100whp away from what other guys make on the same turbos) Case in point Phil only made what 580whp? JP made 640whp with the same turbo. Same motor, same mods, etc etc.
3) Call AMS and talk to them. It was funny when Bad BISH was dynoed and they were blatantly attacking AMS. It was a marketing gimick, its was a good one, but i find it hard how AMS who builds EQUALLY AS FAST AN EVO completely disagrees with Buschurs claims like i do, and no one thinks anything about that.

no offense mike.. but if i spent countless hours and money developing cars, why would i disclose all of my secrets? so others can understand? or maybe so others can copy? it just doesn't make any sense to give out his intellecutal properties.
now you may have a point and at the same time, every tuner has their own opinion. i've seen many things done by great tuners and then another tuner takes a look and says this is wrong, that is wrong.. everything is wrong... but in the end it still works.
i don't know how long nick's motor will last, but i do know he runs high boost, meaning over 30 psi on pump gas and it runs like a champ. he has yet to have a significant problem with the car and i hope it stays that way. in the end, everyone is entitled to their opinion and in this world of tuning, there will always be discrepancies.
Also notice how a 600whp car only has 68 degree IATs an NO METH :scratches head:

Mike, do you think some of the reason why he doesn't reveal much about how he does it is because he doesn't want other people doing it? If I had a trade secret/tune/knowledge/whatever you bet I'm going to dance around the questions. I have the highest WHP pump gas car that Buschur has ever built and the car runs great. I log it and look at the maps often and not once have I been concerned with timing, knock, etc... It's runs great. Also, I have about 6000 miles of HARD driving (with meth and without) in excess of 550WHP (Buschur low reading dyno) on the same motor ...no problems. I had the motor out and apart twice since then and everything look great...
Now I'm not sure where you are coming from when you make comments like these and say "it just doesn't work, or it's not true, or it never can work" when in fact my data, these data points and many cars to MANY widely known race teams etc. are in fact tangible result with proven numbers. Not silly dyno number, numbers from the track. Actually 1/4 numbers backed many times over by results/testing/tuning on several different cars.
I'm not an engineer and I don't know how to tune etc... however, I can believe real world TANGIBLE results that I have seen personally for the past 4 years. The proof is in the pudding.
I guess I'm curious as to what you are trying to prove/accomplish/learn. Answer me that and I will help you, I promise, whatever you are looking for.
Also, Chad, if you don't think Phil's car will trap in the 130's, brother your smoking crack.
