because i've told him a 100 times and everyone else, if we were to get caught street racing the legal ramifications are far more than $1000 to take care of. He wants to go to the track, i'm more than an h our away from every track, and frankly i don't have the time to go, between work and relaxing. He talks shiit, but so far, he hasnt lost except to a vette the night he got punched. You should run him with your little 4cyl and really make him look bad.

Sorry, street racing is just not on my list of things to do, EVER. And the track is far, i just really don't care enough to shut him up. When i take my car to the track after im' done modding and i want to get a new time, i'll be happy to let him know. But i have to take off work and plan, and doing that just to shut him up is not worth it for me, i'd be doing it for my own pleasure.

even a 12.5 is hard to believe for a showroom condition evo. best i could find on youtube was a 13.1... and that looked like a really clean run!

The fastest times I've been able to find was a 13.1 - 13.3. This was done at ATCO one of the fastest tracks in the country because its rumored to be shorter than 1320 feet. To be honest it doesn't matter what his stock times were. This guy has major delusions of grandeur. Read some of his old posts... everytime he goes to the track he brags about how his mods have picked up his car. :screwy:

I told him we could do it at the track for 1k. Hell I will even put up $1200 to his $1000. That covers his gas, time lost and the winnings.

Seems like EASY money to me. :goodjob: I even got beat by a BONE STOCK AUTOMATIC 2.73 GEARED C5 Vette. I made sure plenty of people saw that one too.
