Looking for a Stock Z06 ('06+)

Looking for some friendly highway pulls just to see where my car is at. I have a near-400hp 240SX (4 cylinder turbo). A coworker thinks I would get walked all over by a new Z06, but I think I may be able to keep it at least to a slow pull. I'd just like to see what would happen.

i dont know of a member that CURRENTLY owns a c6z06... marshall, if he ever comes out again, has a base c6 in the terroritory of c6z specs tho... his sn is LEAVINU

If his is actually putting down 483 at the wheels that is probably more than a Z. I'm assuming a stock one puts down around 440-460whp

I've personally raced a 06 z06 on Ga 400, and pulled 4 cars in 5th gear. In my 2jz s14. The z06 sucks. I was only running 16.5 psi at the time.

I think you will need over 400 to have a chance.

I think your crazy there's no way you pulled a C6 Z06 4 cars in 5th gear. So your saying that your car in 5th will out pull the Z in 4th.

And you only want to give Collins 1 car and your going to beat a new ZO6

i got 2j love but you're just talkin ****... only 16.5 psi? that should put you at close to 500 rwhp and you ONLY weigh how much?

240 = about 2600 lbs

z06 = about 3300 lbs


its not rocket science... you should be able to pull on a z06. ****, you should have been able to do it at 12 psi..

What is 1.8t making, 477whp still? If either he or LEAVINU would like to give me a run, I'll take it. I would still prefer to run a stock z06 though.

Please everybody can we keep this to an attempt to find a run instead of who everybody thinks who will win (or won't). Nobody really knows anything about my car, so there is no need to clutter the thread with speculation.

Car is being retuned next week while I am gone for more consistent power, perhaps you may want to wait until next weekend? Your call.
