These are runs from a while ago. iloveboost's 4th gear synchro was bad and the car kept popping out of gear.

The car should back back up pretty soon with a built transmission and rear diff with more videos and callouts to follow. It will also be tuned for the nitrous. Both of these runs were on motor.

I had to shift slow going into 4th and hold it in gear, lol.

that day it put down 410whp/387tq. It was fun, in no way did I expect to win since he has 500 or better at the wheels. Did break up the monotony of standing in the cold. Good run and look forward to more when I get my motor built later this year. Will be alot more interesting then.

daniel is just a regular cammed ls6

are you not?

the z he ran i think is 405 on a dyno dynamics and 410 on a DJ.

daniel you know that race wasn't fair, and you also know the 350Zs are only good for look out cars

Yeah, I was just tired of standing around sitting in the cold so tried to make things semi-exciting. I tried to get the single turbo 2JZ SC to run but he said he had to go to work.

Yeah, it was definitely a nice break from just standing around in the cold. I'd love to run when you get the built motor. Would be interesting...

I agree. Maybe we can get some quick cars together for another day time run. I have yet to hang out with anyone from this board or see any of these other fast rides, so I am more than down. It would be nice put this meet together within the next month or so, because my setup will be changing

Do you have a built motor? I'd love to run something making more power.

I'm down to run when I get the car back. I'm going to assume it will be another 2-3 weeks until I get my car back and the parts come in.

I wish! Heh, I was making a lot less HP on these runs. I was still on the break-in tune running really conservative AFRs and timing. So, we'll see...

Daytime vid in mid-April would probably work really well considering it will be warmer and it's plenty of notice for everyone to get together. Besides, I need to get some 17" MTs ordered.

Thoughts?

there are a few Z's in the Atlanta area with 500 or better at the wheels. Sharif has 652 on a DD dyno. That car is not being driven on the street anymore though, since it's being gutted for road racing.

That doesn’t make any sense! Unless he is de-turnning the car or turn it into a 1/2 million dollar race car no way he will even used 450hp out the 652 available. Maybe detune and a nice STC will be able to make it around the course.... I find hard to go WOT at every apex with 340whp on hosiers!

he does not run that map on a road course. From talking with him I think he only runs around 450 whp on the circuit tracks. He definitly has skills in the twisties, it's a ***** to keep up with him on our mountain runs in his G37S which is stock minus springs and wheels.

pfffft, the 510'll have to see his Z at road atlanta then........ it would be my pleasure =] . btw got the coil overs, wilwoods, and griffin rad installed. next on the list is strut bars, cage, beefier fuel delivery system, then drivetrain.

i doubt it'll go 150 just yet =P . the power has to be the last thing on the list......but a 9 second street car, that pwns the road courses is the brains behind the brawn of this "L33T510" project.

i may have the 280Z resurrected by next week, so i can deliver it. i'll talk him into running the vette once both cars are ready

to get back on topic though. that was a nice vid. both cars get much props!!!

Actually, RJ's325ITS, you're right. Sharif is rebuilding his car to be a track monster with much more easy usable power. It'll be less than what he had before, but it'll be a lot faster on the track
