We made a trip to silver dollar track since i have never raced at
a track before and i wanted to run my car the way it was on the old set up before it goes under the nife, and to get the feel for a track

- I spun off the line and at half track and let out for a sec too.

it was a ok run for my first time i think ill be in da 10's next time!
my 60 ft was 2.2 (which with seat time that will fall)
8.3 101 8th
11.90 130.92 1/4

The mustang was a single turbo gt at 10pds boost (slow as hell for what it was)

Then I dropped my car off APF for new set up to be installed

yeah that dude was down there last time i was down there with the gto herd... he's really not very fast... the best time he could click off when i was there was about a 13.6

turbo and 13.6? Theres guys running low 13s with a few bolt ons and a tune, some even high 12s? Seriously , boosted GT 13.6?

i think were were having traction problems (everyone was) and tuning it that day they were nice people just having fun, but who cares dont turn this thread into bitching about a slow stang. just wanted to throw this out there being my first time at the track and i havent posted up in awhile

Fast traps - no doubt a high 10 second car with traction.

Did you get any runs in without spray? I always seem to trap around 120 MPH, but never have gotten a clean run in with a good launch.

that run was only spraying at the top of third 3rd gear and a little of 4th on the old block and stock heads-

motor run trapped 124, but i didnt lauch very well.

turbo gt and it only ran a 13.6 i cal bs. my turbo stang would run at least like a 13.3 lol jk. but dang josh what do you have done to your car now, cause that some pretty high traps?

29mph increase from the 1/8 to the 1/4? Only sprayed for 1 sec? I call BS. Nice time though...enough mph to get into the 10s

Yes, thats a nice trap. There was definitely more sprayed then you are leading us to believe. Nice run.

Glad to see my old nitrous setup hitting the 130ish mark. Just think what a cam only C6 would have done with the spray in the 1/4..........

You will ALWAYS be the nitrous vette guy on IA; dont think we are fools.

I'll leave you alone in 2007.....at least until the 4XXci block goes in the lil C6.

ya the tnt worked fine on my car with the timing tuner i think it was your msd box that was messing with your setup.

i thought it was a good time for the first time ever at a track and doing it legal lol
