    Default My 3rd kill....

    Last night at around 11:30pm, I was driving down 441 south, leaving Athens. I was going the speed limit (55mph), I come up to a G35 Coupe, I pass it doing the speed limit. He comes back up beside me, flicks on interior light gestures for a race..... (Me being in a 89 Civic Si, and him G35 Coupe), I agree to run. We only went once, 40-120. We take off at 40, he leads, I am in 3rd gear and catch up, 4th I am beside him, then I hear a nasty sound from his car, I pass him, go into 5th get up to 120, and he is approx 2 car lengths behind. We stop at a gas station and he gets out (17yr old punk in daddies car.) I asked what happend to him, that he should have beat me, he says " I think I messed the tranny up." I ask how so, and he was like it took me forever to get it to go in some of the gears and there was all kinds of grinding noises... long story short, rich boy took dad's car out, hardly knows how to drive stick, gets beat by a HONDA CIVIC!!!!! Needless to say, I should have lost, so I guess the saying "It's not the car, it's the driver" stands true. I am not in no way saying my car is fast.

    So yeah my Zc swap'd EF beat a G35 Coupe, not a true win. But funny.

    your story is alot different than what i saw. i saw him tear you up, it may have taken him til 3rd gear ( he didnt have his launches down) but you in no way shape or form came close to him.

    Yes and feel free to post kills like that . I lol and good kill. It reminds me when I raced a evo 8 from a light and beat it by 2 cars (1 awful driver)

    Thanks man. Yeah it was pretty crazy, and the kid actually thought he blew the tranny. Non-drivers trying to race = me laughing my butt off.
