prob driver error then. not mph fault. mph usually makes more pwr per mod than ne other modular shop

I could understand that if he was catching up but he wasnt. He also lost to a 96-98 Cobra that had just exhaust and i think gears. He didn't say that he lost traction or miss shifted either. Just that he couldnt catch up. Unless he was standing on the brakes instead of the gas, i don't think there was much driver error in the race. Speaking of driver error, I missed 3rd on the first race and still kept pulling ahead after finding the gear I wanted.

well, what was done to his car. the way your secribing it, it must have been just a exhaust or bolt on car, and i dont think that counts as a car that mph did alot of work to lol, but some cars are just terds.. good kill.

What color was the car? If its the one I am thinking of its a low c/r motor built for ALOT of boost. However the guy ran out of money on the long block.

The GT is white. He said that it was a built motor for boost but didn't know what the CR was. Still, the car should have been tuned with how the setup was left. Even if he did run out of money, why would he be told that the car was tuned for a supercharger and that all he needed to do was install a SC? He didn't even seem sure which SC he was going to go with. Even with a lower cr, he still should have been able to somewhat keep up. My car isn't that modified, just typical bolt ons minus headers.

stock GT's only have like 280hp. plus weigh 3600-3700. im guessing he was full of shìt

Gotta agree that it isnt wise but 9.5 comp is not really that low and it does have some kind of cam in it. Either that or its not idling right. Car sounds good but is defanitely shy on hp. I'm only putting down 318 and didnt take much to pull away from him. To me, something still just doesn't seem right.

well you know us s197's are SOHC. So, you cant really hear the "cams". I bet he didnt have cams. I'm at 8.8:1. 9.5 is retarded....he'll have no power but at least he'll be ready for boost.

well you make 20 more hp, prob weigh a little less and may be a little better driver, that would easily be 3 or 4 car lengths, you can run me if you want to see an example of a mph car
