Runs last night....good fun!

A handful of use met for some runs last night at a remote location from the norm.

Here are some of the runs that took place:

champ_coupe and I
Z U L8tr and Lankhoss
Z U L8tr and 198 plus
WickedMR and I
Collins and I

All in all good night and fun runs. All very strong cars and seemed to be very close in most aspects.

There were some vidz made via the large treadmill in Mexico during the Lankoss/198 plus runs against Z U L8tr.

I assume someone will post once those are ready.

Good times last night!! I'm glad that we all ended up finding each other. At first, I thought no one was gonna show up at the place, and we were all gonna be driving around looking for each other, then come home and post up "WTF were you guys????" heh

me and leavin u ran from like a 40-50 he got me =( lol it was fun though car def got faster... he would start to pull once i got into 5th.... =( my boost kept spiking i got kinda scared lol!!!!!

1st run with Wicked= 20-120mph
I blew the tires and hopped 1st and 2nd let off to not break...Trac Ctrl OFF

wicked ahead of course

2nd run with Wicked= 20-120mph
he jumped the honk and we stayed dead even..Trc Ctrl ON

His rear bumper was in line with my front bumper b/c of his early jump

3rd run with Wicked= 50-120mph

no trac issue for me...about even till @80mph then I started pulling slightly
what was your view from a length standpoint Josh?

Very solid runs with Wicked. On the 2nd run I was coming hard @110-115mph and right as the needle hit 120 he slammedddddd the brakes. You werent kidding Josh about not wanting to run a C6 above 120...........I was coming!

Have to say I am very impressed with what the Evo's can do. Josh makes just a hair less tq than I do from the numbers he quoted me which coming from a 2ltr is insane.

I planned on running Z U L8tr but I was suffering from the "sticky clutch pedal woes" all night. I learned a new trick from the other vette guys there when I told them what was happening. Basically after each shift during all the above runs I had to stick my toe under the pedal and lift it up. Sure this was slowing me or hurting me someway last night.

Joshs Evo is Deffinately impressive for stock turbo..Hate to say it but That chubby china man gots the Jdm Shift skillz..I wish I could have seen them in person but me and "Phsyco" went to go blaze...Post the Vids up somebody!!

haha, twas very cool putting faces with some names i hadn't yet met. glad everyone had a good time and stayed safe. that treadmill can kinda get tricky at times lol.

c6z06 guys, cars looked amazingly hot, and (from what i hear) ran even better! nice to meet you!

Sweet! But those were actually the first runs against me ;-)

1st race I missed 3rd, 2nd race I tried to go from 1st and just spun all over the place.

The rest of the races were all from about 40-45mph - 120mph.

I started in 2nd each race (with the exception of a couple others not on this video where I tried 1st unsucessfully), and Z can tell you what gear he started in each race. As you can tell from him talking out the window, sometimes he tried 2nd, and sometimes he tried 3rd.

then that second run was my shining star run

. after that. ....i tried in 3rd = bad idea lol. i can't get the "z06----2" vid to play *shrug.

all the other runs with Lank were pretty consistent spankings, Lank bout 2 cars ahead @ 120

Thanks man, your car is stout for sure! Definitely in the 11's. I could hit 11 (barely) when my car was stock, and on the stock runflats. Your car is faster than a stock Z06.

i don't feel so bad now.... got a quickie with a 95 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta (Great looking car)

2nd gear roll @35mph, he honks, 1 second into third gear... datsun = 2 lengths

bah! they're not enzo's but it still says Ferrari on it

I also lost to Nightsrt4's 600rr. Rider definately made a huge difference /w car vs 600, he's got one of those "built on Wednesday" bikes when everyone was focused on what they were doing, his 600rr is unexplainably faster than other 600's for some reason. I don't know where you're hiding the Naaawwwwzz LOL but i got my eye on you

Yeah, I rode in 198's car and he rode in mine during these races. Had to even out the weight since there was a camera man in Z's car. I would have done better against the bike without a passenger, but still....I've pulled 600's WAYYYYYYYY harder on the highway, even with Rick in my car.
