Power to weight?? Maybe ive been hearing to much bullshit about the almighty 2j but this is the motor that will make 800 hp on a stock bottom end right? by my math your average 600 hp supra (not to unbelievable) ha about 5.9 lbs/hp and if you have a fox coupe that wieghs 3000 lbs and has 400 hp (also not unbelievable) 7.5lbs/hp. Granted these are just theoretical #'s. Not to be a jackass but I do know a little about foxes mainly because my father currently owns about 25.( about half are junk). I know that suspension and tires are very important in drag racing and Ive been saying the whole time that torque is why foxes are fast in the quater ! Torque is not as help full at high speeds because torque=force x distance(nothing to do with speed) however power = work/time (does relate to speed) So if im not mistaken hp is more important at higher speeds. Higher speeds as in a 60-160 highway roll.

Well then You would know of a 03 Cobra... We made over 900 with the stock Bottom end, Also Have you heard of a teksid block (I think I spelled that right)
We made over 1000 whp with that Block, These are not Stroker motors we Bulid................. I can only speak of the cars I know and I'm sure if you look up some info you would find tons of Mustangs making big power... Yes HP !! Your welcome to prove you point on the Street, I'm sure I can get a Mustang that does Highway Pulls.. It will cost some money but It can happen... .. You know If someone with a 2j Wants I could set up a Free race, Maybe !!..

Overprice, you 're absolutely right. But they are still badass cars nonetheless except when it comes to the weight of the vehicle, which is the weak point of the car. Damn Toyota reinforces ever fucking part on their cars, for example my mr2 weighs about 2800lbs. I like supras b/c they are fast in a straight line and can handle the twisties. Going fast in a straight line mainly comes down to the driver and suspension.

I know all about the 32V terminators cobra throw the big KB on it, feed it enough fuel and you have a monster ha ha. You can ask Mr. Kidd though, I am not a fan of the 2j swaps in 240s. 240s with sr's are perfect to me( I have one ha ha). Just the right about of power in a light chassis and sexy looks (lol ha ha ha). I dont really know anyone with a 2j but ill see if I could see up something is CCR's 750- 900 hp R33 monster that should be finished this summer.

The 32v's don't like the KB's.. Yes they will make power but we have 2v's that make more with the same Blower... With those big heads they need more air.. Turbos are sick on those 32v motors.. 800 Plus with a Fuel System and maybe cams... .. KB's give you a Nice Power band but the Turbos or Turbo is the Key on them...

Wow since my car is slow that obviously means that I can't see or read. It has an sr20 thats basically stock. I have about $6,500 in the car and im in college. You have probably have been there and if you have then you probably already know that unless your parents buy stuff for you then its kind of hard to get an engineering degree and work a full time job so that you can have a fast car. BTW do you work a Modular Powerhouse? b/c Tim does turn out some fast as hell 4.6's

Thats Andrew he is a good friend of mine and ive been to the shop and even met you briefly I believe. BTW im probably going to come up tommorow to see the mach with twins dyno.
