    Default Killed Yellow C6 Z06 on GA400

    Not sure who he was, but the car sounded good. I can only assume it was stock Z06 with just an exhaust since that is all I could see. We did 2 pulls, just north of exit 8 on 400. First pull was from 70 roll, I got him by about 5 cars by the end of 5th gear. Second time we slowed down to around 40mph, it was even worse then. I couldnt' count how many lengths I got on him, but I could see his headlights in all three of my rearview mirrors. I figure he must have gave up or missed a gear.

    The car I was driving is a 96 subaru, with a few boltons
    I was running 24psi with a racegas pumpas mix since that is what the car is tuned for.

    Not sure if the guy is on here since he drives a Z06, but in any event.
    Good runs and the guy was cool about it giving me the thumbs up .

    C6 Maybe 70mph is in the sweet spot of second gear for the Z06 you must have badass car!!!

    Yeah he legitimately beat me but I'm having some trouble with my z06 and it's only running on 3 cylinders... A couple of my plugs are fucked.

    24 psi AND race gas... will eat most the nay sayers and haters that have posted... maybe all of them. 500 bhp is not hard to achieve with boost and race gas...

    I am not a street racer but if something comes up while I am out driving I have no problem doing some pulls. So please don't bother calling me out, I built this car to compete in some time attack events. Also I this is my new toy I will be running in OneLap aswell. Its not a drag car even though it does have one killer power to weight ratio, instead I find fun in having a 10 second car that will turn left, right and stop very fast.


    The car is a 96 subaru, with a complete 2006 Sti motor/drivetrain swap. Last time on the dyno it made just a hair under 500whp @ 23-24psi with a race gas mix. The car weights 2570 without me in it, and has 265/35/18's all the way around.

    So before you go calling BS... you should check the facts. Oh and it was a C6 Z06 trust me I can tell the difference.

    Yeah me too... but you know what. This car is paid for... and will kick a Z06's ass all day long on the road course. Of course it doesn't have a/c power anything or a radio. But its not my daily so what do I care.

    I personally like the way it looks. But who the hell cares about looks as long as performs well That car is fast in a straight line and can wax some ass on a road course, basically all around good performing car.

    That car is badass but with no radio, no sound deadening and no creature comforts whatsoever, you are gonna be taking it in the ass on Onelap brother. I'm sure it will make quite a showing there though but goddamm I would'nt want to have to do the between tracks driving duties in that bitch. Plus you will need a nice fat trailer hitch on that thing to tow tires and supplies. Either way, good luck on Onelap if you get it there, should post some awesome times considering what the Evo did a few years back.

    Just watch out for Ron Adee in his Dodge Ram. I think he retired this thing though as of 2 years ago or so, runs a Corvette thats sicko too.


    Also you will have fun with Ultimas, fastest car in the world what they are saying at this moment. 0-61 2.4, o-100-0 9.6 seconds. Couple of those are running Onelaps too. Your car should do well if it does everything it's supposed too.

    Ha thats funny you say that I was just thinking the same thing...Last time I saw it was stripped in and out and my baby sister could pick up the frame. You guys worked fast on that..Damn...! Looks great and Lake Effect has a new neon for onelap this year..its going to be around the same weight but not quite as much power..considering its a FWD 2nd Gen..but with the LSD it should be right up there (hopefully top 10 )
