you need to go into the cpu on boot and set the multiplier to 17x.that way you will actually have a PhenomII 965,lol.that's the only difference in the 955 and 965.

if your not really a gamer, just don't think SLI / Crossfire is necc. Can you really say to yourself your going to start playing again?

Why not try 1 card and add another if needed. Save $100 possibly.... other than that looks good.

no, i dont think i'll play. haha the idea was to get one card but crossfire requires the same cards unlike SLI. i just like to have the option and convenience to upgrade wen i want to.

I would get a 790fx board over the gx and the 4890 is a btter card than the 4770

The 4770 is a solid card, my Fiance runs it in her rig and it performs flawlessly for most gaming. She plays L4D at highest settings 1680x1050 with no issues at all.

you can get a 4850 on ebay for less than what newegg wants for the 4770.
    just a thought.
hell even the 4850 on newegg is only 10.00 more.

????? Microcenter has some of the cheapest CPU prices ANYWHERE....

Fry's have cpu/mobo combos that pretty much make the motherboards free. There was a i5 750 with a quality Gigabyte mobo for $200 after $20 MIR. The mobo is worth $140 alone....

You gotta know what you're looking for....
