    Default Laptop Slows Down

I have a HP Pavilihon dv9000 laptop and am running the game rFactor, it runs fast for about fifteen minutes, then just goes real slow, ONLY the game though, programs run fine.

I tested another game and it did the same thing.

Is there anything I can change? Is it the video card, ram, something? Any settings I could adjust on the video card?

It has 1GB of ram, Nivedia Geforce Go 7600

    Default

    # System Requirements 1.4 GHz processor
    # Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, XP, XP 64-bit, Vista (will NOT run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 first edition)
    # 512 MB RAM
    # Geforce4 4200 or Radeon 9200
    # 128 MB video RAM
    # DirectX 9.0c
    # 2.0 GB of hard drive space for installation
    # Internet connection required for one-time activation
game requirements above... it would more than likely be b/c of your video card/memory... i would suggest bumping up to 2gb ram and upping your shared video memory if it is an option.
